Ralph Weems IV, who was injured early Saturday, was in fair condition Sunday at North Mississippi Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Genie Causey said without elaborating.
A relative, Bradley Barnes of Madison, told The Associated Press by telephone on Sunday that his brother-in-law was in a medically induced coma following brain surgery. "They're going to try and wake him up tomorrow and see what damage was done," Barnes said, describing Weems as a 32-year-old former Marine who had served in Iraq.
David Knighten of West Point told AP earlier by phone that he and Weems had gone to a Waffle House early Saturday. He said a man waved him over outside the restaurant and told him politely that people were upset by the killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and it wasn't a safe place for whites. When he went in, he said, Weems was inside and was arguing with other men.

On that stretch of wy 45, from Meridian to Tupelo, there are not many choices for where to have a cup of coffee or eat if you’re tired and having trouble staying awake. The story doesnt reveal if these guys were travelin thru or fresh out of a bar and bullet proof. But the whole reason there are 24 hour resturants such as Huddle House or Waffle House on major highways in small cities is to cater to travelers. There are no 24 hour resturants in Lauderdale, Scooba, Macon,etc etc on Hwy 45.There are stores that sell gas and also fried food, but the Waffle House and Huddle House chains are placed in high traffic area on major highways to serve travelers. Not drunks from Tucky’s Funk House, though that is a large amount of the chains’ customers in every location they serve.
That being said, the law enforcement in these areas should not be avoiding certain calls because of the race factor. I smell lawsuit. But the point is not lost upon me that certain areas are best passed thru. This needs to be posted and heat put on 24 hour resturants to either close up in racially challenged towns or have security cams, AND a police force willing to take that call.

It’s stupid for whites to be around blacks at all if it can be avoided; I’ve told my children that they aren’t safe around people who have been taught to hate them for the color of their skin (and it was NOT a conversation I wanted to have). I’d rather have cautious, safe children than be attending funerals ignored by the media when they are killed in the low-key race war in this country.
I think that is how East Saint Louis, Illinois; Detroit; Gary; etc., and of course our new location, FERGUSON, MO demographics got their start.
I am waiting for a Democrat National Committee Proposal which will restrict Whites from moving from neighborhoods/cities undergoing racial transitions.

Interesting that one of the two white guys had a gun and showed police his carry permit. Nothing more was mentioned about the gun plus there was no indication the guy carrying intended to use it or DID use.

I got into a heated argument with a responsible black man (he had on his company's uniform) a few years ago over the Iraq invasion. He claimed lots of blacks were on the front lines and getting killed or injured. It was in the waiting area of an automobile dealership so it could not escalate to blows but he was very very pissed. When I said this was not the case
The truth is white and Hispanics were in the front lines. Blacks are just about always in support roles such as drivers and supply and cooking. "Not gonna get killed in no white man's war!"

...I’m betting this stranger was a black person...if a black came up to me, as I was approaching the door to an establishment, and said ‘I wouldn’t go in there if I were you; black people aren’t happy with whites right now’, I’d consider that a gift from God...
...Logically, I would be angry that black people and their fantasies is denying me the opportunity to do business as I see fit...but realistically, I’d be thanking my lucky stars and locking my own house door behind me..
