Jesse Jackson Criticizes Fox News for 'White Panel' on Race During Ben Carson Debate

On this weekend's broadcast of "Fox News Sunday," Rev. Jesse Jackson and Dr. Ben Carson debated the civil unrest after Officer Darren Wilson fatally shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO.

Jackson became defensive when host Chris Wallace's first question was why he had called the shooting a "state execution," answering, "We need to have a sense of justice. All we do know about Michael Brown is really he was shot unarmed six times."

“It seems to me that the police act as judge, jury, and executioner, and even on the worse scenario, if [Brown] hit [Wilson] on the face, does that require at a distance? Does that mean you shoot him six times? Four times at point-blank range? I don’t think so," Jackson added.

Wallace asked Jackson about the the statistics Juan Williams pointed to on the panel earlier in the show, saying, "among black males between ages 15 and 34, and 91 percent of black murder victims are not killed by the police but are killed by other blacks."

Jackson shot back, "Well, first of all, I wish Dr. Carson and I were on that white panel you just had because it does have a race dimension. We come by it from experience differently than your previous guests, number one. Number two, it seems to me that when blacks kill whites, which is rare, it's swift justice. When it's white on black, it's slower. When it's black and black, it's drugs in, jobs out. Racial disparity and alienation and distrust are very combustible formulas, factors." . .

Wilson , the police officer, was physically assaulted at least twice:
#1 (Assault)When he tried to exit his vehicle, and Brown "bum rushed" the door, forcing wilson back into the vehicle.
#2 (Assault) When Brown struck Wilson while the officer was still in his vehicle, resulting in the facial injury.
#3 (Assault/ Deadly Pysical Force)When Brown reached into the vehicle attempting to gain posession of Wilson's firearm , and the gun discharged.
#4 (Attempted Assault)The "bum rush" confrontation after taunting officer Wlson, resulting in Brown's death.

Consider these assaults as having taken place within a minute and a half.
Also Wilson had sustained facial injury, with possible bone fragmentation ,thus possibly distorting his vision.
Additionally, the discharge of the firearm within a small physical space (ie: within the vehicle) would have incapacitated his hearing.
With four assaults, there was nothing racial about this incident; if Brown was white, the results would be the same.

I think the reason why Table 42 data are no longer available to the public is because the Obama-Holder Dept. of Just Us and Our People did not like it that white on black sex assaults are shown as zero for multiple years. And the Obamas, Holders, Jacksons, and Sharptons did not want that for their years in power. Truth costs them money and power.

(Again emphiasis on survey of thousands of crime victims not actual police reports. The FBI has actual police reports but they do not include race of victim/offender in all cases.)

OMG.....is he kidding? I can name some of the most brutal crimes, and they have been black on white. Raping and beating to death an 89 yo white woman, shooting the Aussie BB player in the back because the yutes were “bored”, the list is endless and recent. The girl in Columbia SC Kelly Hunnewell mother of three, working the graveyard shift at a bakery. The yutes broke in, ran her down and trapped her in a corner, shot her to death. Yep, in each one of these murders, they were arrested swiftly, thank God. They were easy to catch because they were illiterate and primal like animals.

IIRC, Jackson said he was walking alone down a dark street & realized a whole group of young men were walking behind him.

He said when he turned around and saw that they were white, he felt relieved.

The funeral tomorrow will make the Paul Wellstone memorial of 2002 look dignified. Sharpton & Jackson will whip up the crowd with the blessing of the (all black) WH delegation, and tomorrow night the streets will explode.

Unfortunately I think there was a foul up in a recent book.. and the matter exploded. I have not checked recently but I originally learned of these numbers from wiki. They soon disappeared out of wiki -- even the link to the DoJ tables was removed. I doubt that they have been put back.

The problem was mixing FBI data and DoJ annual surveys of thousands of crime victims.

I saw this from Patrick J. Buchanan writings:

“Suicide of a Superpower,” this writer concluded: “An analysis of ‘single offender victimization figures’ from the FBI for 2007 finds blacks committed 433,934 crimes against whites, eight times the 55,685 whites committed against blacks. Interracial rape is almost exclusively black on white — with 14,000 assaults on white women by African Americans in 2007. Not one case of a white sexual assault on a black female was found in the FBI study.”

Others reported the same numbers.

But I could not find FBI stats for 2007 that cover black-on-white and white-on-black violent crimes.

I have posted DoJ surveys of victims of crimes including for the year 2007. Turns out that appears to be the source. But these are DoJ stats obtained from interviews with tens of thousands of victims of crime.

Crimes of violence against whites 3,262,660 and 13.3 % were black offenders; that's 433,934 times
Crimes of violence against blacks 562,470 and 9.9% were white offenders; that's 55,685 times
Crimes of violence against whites by blacks is 7.79 times the number of crimes of violence against blacks by whites.
