On the Friday broadcast of “The McLaughlin Group,” columnist Pat Buchanan predicted that President Obama would grant amnesty to illegal immigrants via executive order by Labor Day and that such an action would “set the country completely on fire.”
After Washington Examiner Chief Congressional Correspondent Susan Ferrechio argued that “Democrats could gain from Hispanic voters turning out, especially if the president decides to take key executive actions in this summer that would help Hispanics who are here in the country, perhaps living here illegally. That could boost popularity for the party,” Buchanan responded “executive amnesty will set the country completely on fire. I do agree, it might get out the Hispanic vote, but you will have red state Democrats denouncing the president for doing it, for engaging in unconstitutional action. It would be a tremendous firestorm which would really polarize the nation.”

Obama has no right to grant amnesty.
But he will do it because he can and nobody will stop him.

I would make this observation...state by state...there would be judges stepping in to halt the process and prevent massive registration of new residents as voters. If you wanted a charged-up voting hostility to exist around November of this year....this would be the method to get everyone in to vote....in a non-Presidential election year.

Eleanor Clift was upset Buchanan called it "Executive Amnesty" - which it is - and spun it the same as the Obama flunkie on the program sent out to prepare us for this unconstitutional act.

You have to give Buchanan credit for beating the drum on illegal immigration. He was a voice in the wilderness for a long time.
The lawsuit declaring the action unconstitutional should hit the SCOTUS within n hour after the announcement. A permanent injunction prohibiting implementation should be in effect within 24 hours.

The only way I see it backfiring is if border state governors deploy the National Guard and take their own steps to deport the invaders. Obama, Holder, and the media will howl - but that is the only way.

Just another act from a commie book. Amnesty in this case is a bullet hitting two targets. First, in face of discontent with a general population, it wins a huge support among felons for a ‘liberator’. And as far as liberation is followed by rampant crime, it allows ‘liberator’ to crack down on freedoms for safety without any serious public opposition.
This is really a sore point with blacks, they are going crazy over this illegal situation, especially when the radical Muslim posing as our President announced he wanted to spend $3.7 billion on the foreign invaders which is why the radical Muslim posing as our President is inciting faux racism in places like Ferguson BTW to bring blacks back into the cult. If the Republican party had any brains they would take advantage of the radical Muslims Scamnesty, start a campaign in black neighborhoods how the radical Muslim is selling out their jobs to foreign invaders, how the Treason party has always sold them out and the Repub party has always been about the advancement of colored people, but they won’t because it’s the RINO party now whose sole purpose it seems is to lick the butt of the radical Muslim posing as our President.

if other border states took action and California did not, the illegal invaders would flood there and overwhelm that state. Make no mistake: this signals the end of the Republic. We will not be a sovereign nation once The Agitator does this.
