Though too late and for the wrong reason, this is a good step. I doubt any change will come, though.
A month or so ago they announced that the FBI will start taping all suspect interrogations.
And those are the only good things I can think of that have come out of this administration.

While it seems prudent to evaluate this transfer of military hardware to civilian LE, it wasn’t the ‘hardware’ that caused the riots. The riots started and then the ‘hardware’ was brought in.

Obama orders review of police use of military hardware:The Feds will maintain their military hardware and they will increase their jurisdiction. The local police will be disarmed and phased out.
Military hardware will not be used on blacks. Military hardware will be used on whites and tea party patriots.
