Jaycee joined FReeRepublic on 9-19-2000 and had found a home at Amy's Place. She was a sweet lady, a beautiful friend and loved by all.
She loved her family, God, her country and our military. Jaycee brought joy, beauty, faith, friendship and fun to us for many years and we miss her.
As you pray for her, please remember her family in your prayers. She was so proud of her sons, Barry and Greg, and she adored her grandchildren.
Father, please hold Jaycee in your loving embrace. Give comfort and peace to her family as they mourn their loss. We ask this in Jesus' Name. Amen.
Rip, Jaycee.
May she rest in Peace.
Thank you, Februus.
Oh, thank you JustAmy for posting this. I was completely unaware.
Jaycee was a good person, and she had a special presence here on FR over these many years.
I know she is in her Savior’s hands, and with Frank now.
May God in a Heaven rest her good soul, and please comfort her family, sons, grandkids, friends and loved ones!
Lord, be with her family and give them comfort.
Thanks for letting us know.
RIP, Jaycee ♥
Pinging the Prayer List
Prayers for her family and friends.
Prayers for Jaycee and all who loved her are on the way.
~Death is nothing at all~
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.
All is well.

Aww, that made me tear up. Prayers for the family.
(Keep the Faith, my friends! We are the saviors of the Republic! Now and Forever!)
