There is another chilling Chicago connection in the battle between the US. and extreme Islamic militants isil (ISIS).
First theres the beheading of the journalist who was the Northwestern graduate.
Now WGN Investigates has found an online war of words and disturbing images that includes an implied threat to a Chicago landmark building.

I used to walk past Moody a few times a week. Love that side of town.
They can blow up any blue city they want. I’m beyond caring about those people (Progressives).
I find it interesting they would directly threaten Obongos home town? Its almost like a big middle finger to him.
What if they were invited?
Hey, let me know if there are any blues in your neighborhood. So I’ll remember not to care.
I wondered what that building was....we had a lot of fun with those idiots until twitter deleted them.
Is this like that old Bob Newhart skit where the president calls Russia to apologize about accidentally sending a missile to Moscow. Then says we’d like to make it up to you. How about if you take out Chicago? The Russian says that would make you two up on us.
For my own part I guess I’d throw in O’hare and all pieces of Interstate 84 anywhere near Chicago. My trucks don’t have enough gears to get thru that rat’s nest as fast as I want to.
Now see that's the safe place to be. You have it backwards.
Anyway those muslims in Detroit had some big agreement thing they did to never hate each other.
>>Hey, let me know if there are any blues in your neighborhood. So Ill remember not to care.
I said a blue city.
So can you pencil in some hand cuffs on the Grand Kenyan and substitute the front of Fort Leavenworth for the mushroom cloud? Maybe give him a brief case full of fake birth certificates?
But a nuke in Detroit would raise the value of the city.
Most cities are blue—of the major cities (100,000+), only Salt Lake, Fort Worth, and Oklahoma City rejected Obama substantially in 2012, and Phoenix is the only one that he lost narrowly. Cities, almost by definition, are blue.
the Marines named the main street thru Ramadi, Iraq.... Michigan Ave. It was a dangerous IED laden place early on.....i remember it well as my son was in ramadi twice....

Don’t forget Jacksonville FL. (Pop 900,000).
Twitter seems to have blocked them now but we did have so much fun harrassing them in cyberspace. Many creative photoshopped things..
Excellent!! Love it, thanks.
I said blues in your neighborhood.
No, remember her Yankee hat?
While the county that Jacksonville is in did go for Romney, it did so only by 15,000 votes, so I’d bet that the city itself went for Zero, and that the article that I was drawing on, which focused on cities rather than metropolitan areas, was accurate. Burbs tend to be more Republican than the cities they surround, and the countryside even more so.
