Some people seem to have trouble with the concept of paying for things. I guess it all comes from the welfare/entitlement concept that is so prevalent in America today.
Ye, in my town we have weekly police reports involving people trying to walk out of Wal-Mart with stuff. One guy tried it with several flat-screen TVs, while the old scam of walking in, picking something off the shelves, and trying to “return it” without a receipt has re-emerged. The perps are all from nearby Newark NJ, where gibsmedats haven’t paid for anything with their own money since about 1965.
Based on the factual reporting I read here, it would seem that the black urban subculture of St Louis has settled on the practice of walking into a store and taking what ever you want.
I don’t understand why the rioting and looting has not yet begun in the hoods of St Louis proper.
