As I sit watching the wall to wall coverage of the events that are taking place in Ferguson, Missouri, I cant help but wonder how different things might be if an African-American police officer had shot and killed an unarmed white teenager. If there were video evidence showing a hypothetical white teen stealing merchandise and strong arming a clerk in a convenience store prior to being shot, would the media coverage be anywhere close to what we are seeing?
I think not. The coverage would not be nearly as rabid. First of all the racial element would be non-existent. You would not have white civil rights leaders rushing to the scene and making statements and claims that hadnt even been investigated. You more than likely would not have a rush to judgment, screaming for the police officers head before any of the facts were known. In a reverse scenario, I can envision that the teen would be identified as a punk or thug that had a troubled history and was a menace to the community and the police officer portrayed as just doing his job trying to protect the town.

There is no money in it.
We need to riot and demand justice for Brian Claunch. Never heard of him? He is the man with one leg and one arm who was murdered sitting in a wheel chair in a rest home for the mentally disabled in Texas two years ago. He was creating a disturbance of some sort and some idiot called the police. Two officers came and Mr. Claunch, in his wheelchair with one arm and one leg, was shot in the head and killed by one officer who said that Mr. Claunch had trapped his partner in a corner of the room “where he could not escape” and “refused to show his hands” of which he only had one so the officer killed Mr. Claunch to protect his partner from what Mr. Claunch had in his hand A BALL POINT PEN. Go to this link http://www.theguardian.com/world/2012/sep/29/brian-claunch-shooting-houston-police and see if you can determine why this brutal police murder did not receive one one hundredth of the reaction that the death of Big Mike Brown has caused. Look closely, you will see it, it’s right there in black and white. If one tiny detail about Mr. Claunch had been different there would have been riots all over America and you would have heard about it every day for the past two years and still be hearing about it. Texas would have been overrun by carpetbaggers named Obama, Holder, etc. This is a case that would have been a dream come true for the rabble rousers but one tiny detail made his story useless to them. Worse than useless, they would prefer that no one ever heard of it.
“Can anyone name a white civil rights leader?”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
I think there actually are some but they are civil rights leaders who just happen to be white. They don’t try to separate people into categories. They advocate the restoration of the rights they view as granted by God or by nature depending on beliefs and GUARANTEED, not GRANTED in the constitution. They don’t advocate making up imaginary rights like the right to an education, the right to health care, the right to a job if you want one or the right to live off the work of others if you don’t like work etc. They understand that there is no NATURAL HUMAN RIGHT to anything which could not be enjoyed if you were the ONLY HUMAN ON THE EARTH. In other words there is no way that you can have a right to something that MUST BE PROVIDED BY ANOTHER PERSON. Yes, that means that you don’t have a right to police protection, that has already been decided in the courts.
Man, you do not know how much these one armed and one leg men in wheel chairs can inflict and how fast they can inflict it on able bodied Officers. The brave Officer immediately recognized the danger his partner was in and bravely, with no regard for his own safety, took corrective action. The police were called to handle a problem and they handled it. One criticizes their methods of problem solving at the risk of incurring the wrath of the police can do no wrong crowd. And being called a cop hater. The police were called because of a problem. They solved the problem. Kinda rough on the man in the wheelchair, but...hey you gotta break eggs to make omelets.
Oh, heavens, perhaps I should reconsider. I may have spoken in haste.
A lot of what ifs floating around, well here is one. What if this punk acted like a human instead of a thug. that is the problem, they are being taught by their great rappers and thug leaders to act that way. That is why this crap happens.

If it were reversed, no one would know about it.
I myself, wear the cop hater brand upon me inflicted upon my by them. For merely speaking [writing] my disapproval of such actions by the police.
I responder in the hope that you would not suffer the fate that befell me.
