Hundreds of protesters gathered in the rain outside of CNN headquarters in Atlanta Monday to voice their outrage over the networks coverage of the Michael Brown shooting.
According to CNN contributor Hilary Rosen, the angry crowd was frustrated over the networks smearing of Brown, who was fatally shot by Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson on August 9.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, protesters gathered at the networks headquarters, the CNN Center, located in Atlanta.
With chants of no justice, no peace, the protesters marched a mile to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.
It is unclear why the protesters showed up to CNN headquarters. The demonstration was organized using the Twitter hashtag #ItsBiggerThanYou.
Has CNN reported about the eye injury? I tuned in a few hours ago and they were just marching around in circles in Ferguson and the woman on the ground (looked like she was leading a parade in her orange shirt) said that the “older” citizens, people over 30, wanted to have MB remembered, but they wanted to have their community back again.
No mention at all of the effect of the video, toxicology report, or the injury to the officers, or if the incident in nearby St. Louis might peel off some of their thunder and number.
Still mad about Katrina?
Let it go, people.
Well played!
Heck of a job, there,x.
Need new stores to vandalize. The Ferguson stores are too picked over now.
Correction: They did NOT like,,,,,,
As a cracka, I wouldn’t eat anywhere right now where my food is fixed by any of holder’s people or Barry’s sons.
I don’t watch CNN or other spin channels. Only get tidbits here and on Facebook!!!
It didn’t bother me. Why should it? I live in a town where Taco Bell, Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy’s are all black employees and Starbucks, Chic-fil-a, Zaxby’s, Cook out’s, Fudruckers and TCBY’s are all white employees.
I lurk on liberal outlets in order to report back here. Let me do the dirty work for you.
This is what I found on The Signal in Georgia
“She [events chief organizer Elle Lucie] also said the CNN center was chosen as the location to host the protest because of the way audiences interpret the companys method of covering news stories.
CNN has a habit of depicting people of color negatively in the media even when they are victims of crime, and so were staging a non-violent protest to speak out, not only against police brutality, but [also] brutality against people of color in the media, Lucier said.
Agree. I adopted that policy years ago.
All a bunch of drama queens wanting their 15 minutes.
I guess in an Obama economy, people have the time to protest instead of making money working.
You are exactly right!
Welcome to Mob Rule.
That's what I reckoned. Occutards, probably bought and paid with Soros' cash. This S is getting old.
The Rev (who I like) is wrong. white people are not going to do anything but gripe.
A picture of the ignorant masses, CNN’s prime demographic.
Are the white Occutards going to wear blackface? Mother’s HS put on a minstrel show, her 1946 yearbook had pics, hilarious!
Have they released the name of the Soros funded organization these clowns are from? Pretty Honkey looking crowd to be grass roots.
GMTA, right?!!
Good to see you, DO.
MLK Institute for Social Change, it appears. Just taking advantage of a crisis.
