Call me Karnac: I see a zot in the Prophet’s near future.
Insulting Freepers is generally not a good thing to do in your first post regardless of the content.
Karnac, it is. I agree with your prediction ;-)
Wow, must have offended someone’s sense of self-righteousness.
You signed up TODAY to post that, eh?
Glad to see that I struck a nerve. Libs hate it when their motivations are exposed.
Point taken, but I suggest that shouting out implication that anyone interested in alternative energy is a liberal with agenda only to LIBERAL SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS., or is an environut, or that trying to prevent the poisoning of our children is only aimed at controlling the behavior of other (sort of, if youre behavior is to poison my kids you should go to jail), or only to scam taxpayers, or that they are not based on reality i.e. delusional, are all insults directed not just to liberals, but to any thinking person who doesnt have his head in the sand. Just responding in the same vein as most other posts.
There is a long, long history of the attitudes presented here by some being very destructive to mankind. The doctor in the 1800s in Europe that argued the doctors should wash their hand after doing an autopsy before doing surgery on a live patient was drummed out of the medical profession by such arguments. After folic acid deficiency was proven to cause neural tube defects, it was decades of damaged babies, and pressure from dozens of health organizations before the AMA would recommend the harmless advice of getting enough folic acid.
Then what does anybody have to say about it? No fact addressed, just snarky comments. This is the very kind of behavior that people here condemn if the liberals do it.
I have no problem with trying to be energy independent, and that means using everything at our disposal, be it coal, nuclear, solar, oil, etc.
