Still creeps me out thinking about flying TWA into FCO (Leonardo DaVinci), connecting with Lufthansa and flying on to AMS (Schiphol) in Amsterdam. Vienna also was hit. We heard about it after we’d landed, and my business group headed for the hotel bar. The European TV/papers were not shy about showing pics of the aftermath. We re-booked later, and flew back to NYC from LHR (Heathrow).

Were you in the terminal when it happened, mylife? Wow!

No I was there prior to the attack, in Libya sussing it all out.
