i think, it’s my humble opinion, that he could have had his arms up as the front of your arms are exposed both up and down. you can turn them backwards when there up but most people don’t. that’s the way your arms work — shoulders, elbows and all. the shoulder is a rotator. if you put the arms up then the shots all look like a grouping around his head where he also got shot. There is supposedly several entry and exit wounds on his arm that might indicate that his arms were up in an attack/grabbing forward position which i think is likely.

My theory: four shots in the right arm occurred when he was punching the officer in the squad car. His left arm /shoulder are pinned trying to keep the door open. The cop shoots frantically trying to ward off the blows of the right arm.

Here, by the way, from the NYT story, indicating why your theory that he might have had his arms up does not work:

Some of the shots to his arm went through the limb and entered his chest and lungs, according to Dr. Baden.

This is consistent with point-blank range, and with these shots being fired during a struggle, not with his having his arms in the air.

The Fed's autopsy will actually be the third one. The St. Louis office has released nothing. But Baden's autopsy was paid for by the family, so I think we can infer that they knew at least some of the results and were not happy; private autopsies are not cheap. Baden's autopsy is a devastating blow to the families' likely wrong death lawsuit, and to the media narrative.
