I would be ecstatic if I could recruit hard-working blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Indians or whatever for my company. Too bad so many expect $15 an hour with minimal labor involved.
I agree. It seems to me the whole concept of entry-level jobs is lost on the last generation, perhaps even the one before.
They were meant for kids to have spending money while they continued on in school. They could help out at home by contributing. They could get a car, have money for social activity.
After they got their education, they could look for higher paying work. Generally in the past they would find it.

One thing not mentioned, which I did in my earlier post, is that these kids don’t think they have to conform at all either. Any demand that they show conformity at the employer’s request is deemed unfair or unrealistic.
