>Without them, the economy would likely collapse.<

.
And Uncle Sap would most likely have to pick up the pieces if it were to happen or else Mexico would empty itself into its northern neighbor.

That’s the great disadvantage of having a 3rd world southern neighbor.

Mexico’s current whining is perhaps just a feeble reaction to the butt hurt they suffered as mentioned in your history lesson. :)

I put Mexico one category up from Iran, North Korea & Pakistan as the worst country to share a border with.

I guess if we put a halt on the flow, the Mexican side will just back up with all these highly productive immigrants, resulting in an even more robust and healthy Mexican economy. Mexico should be thanking us.

“When can we start shipping “child immigrants” to Mexico the same way they’re shipping them to us?”

Yep, the next time we discover a ship full of illegal Chinese we can haul them to the border and point them across.

That way Mexico could get a taste of being invaded by illegals they couldn’t communicate with, and had no means of support.

With any luck they would start taking the jobs of Mexico citizens for half the wages.

At the rate things are going, Texas will be the center of the NEW USA & the capitol of the NEW country. The east coast & the west coast will have to survive on their own.

The Heartland will survive & Texas will lead us.

Don’t forget the 1854 Gadsden Purchase, wherein many former Mexicans became land OWNERS, instead of just having land grants from the government, which could be seized at anytime by the government.

Mexico is a criminal state with corrupt diplomats who should be ignored. A country that can’t manage its own business shouldn’t tell a great state like Texas how to handle its affairs. It’s absurd.

MEXICO’S IMMIGRATION LAW:
• Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society:
- Foreigners are admitted into Mexico “according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress.”
(Article 32)

- Immigration officials must “ensure” that “immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance” and for their dependents.
(Article 34)

- Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets “the equilibrium of the national demographics,” when foreigners are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when “they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy.”
(Article 37)

- The Secretary of Governance may “suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest.”
(Article 38)

• Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:
- Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants.
(Article 73)

- A National Population Registry keeps track of “every single individual who comprises the population of the country,” and verifies each individual’s identity.
(Articles 85 and 86)

- A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants, and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number.
(Article 91).

• Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned:
- Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned.
(Article 116)

- Foreigners who sign government documents “with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses” are subject to fine and imprisonment.
(Article 116)

• Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:
- Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished.
(Article 117)

- Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years.
(Article 118)

- Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison
(Articles 119, 120 and 121)

Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico — such as working with out a permit — can also be imprisoned.
• Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,
- “A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally.”
(Article 123)

- Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from Mexico instead of being imprisoned.
(Article 125)

- Foreigners who “attempt against national sovereignty or security” will be deported.
(Article 126)

• Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law:
- A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison.
(Article 127)

- Shipping and airline companies that bring undocumented foreigners into Mexico will be fined.
(Article 132)

Mexico is whining b/c Americans are kicking back---we don’t their castoff parasites, welfare cases, criminals, drug cartels, child hitmen, impoverished, unskilled and uneducated Mexicans leeching off us, sending the Mexican govt billions of tax dollars in remittances.

Warning--graphic descriptions--read only to get informed: GATEWAYPUNDIT.COM---a sadistic 12-year-old boy nicknamed El Ponchis is said to have been working as a paid executioner and gunman for drug cartels. And a second child hitman is now being hunted by police according to the attorney general of central Morelos state, Mexico.

It was reported that the 12-year old "El Ponchis" – The Cloak – tortured and murdered dozens of enemies of his cocaine cartel.

His trademark involves cutting victims’ throats so violently that their heads are left hanging by a thread....and cutting off their genitals. He is said to work with his sisters, who help with body disposal.

Grisly internet videos show the 12-year old boasting that his gang is paid £1,900 per murder by drug barons whose gangland wars kill 50 people a DAY. According to the cartel members the 12-year-old boy was the ‘bloodiest hitman’ in the group.....and worked with his sisters.

......from a CIS report: “There is little evidence to suggest that the recent border arrivals (enrolling in US schools) are victims of "trafficking", (which involves coercion). The border swarm are families accompanying their children....all of them willing participants in smuggling operations. These "impoverished Central Americans" are paying smugglers (up to $10,000) to bring them into the United States. “Human trafficking and human smuggling are distinct criminal activities....the terms are not interchangeable,” says ICE....

At the recent House Judiciary hearing on immigration, Cong Gohmert had this eye-opening exchange with the Obama appointee rubber-stamping illegals into the US from 144 countries:

GOHMERT: WRT drug cartels paid $6000-10,000 each to "guide" the hordes over the border---"Would you, as a former prosecutor, call them criminals?" Gohmert nonchalantly asked Obama appointee, Leon Rodriguez--now heading USCIS--- a DHS agency.

The smirking Rodriguez stepped headlong into the trap as Cong Gohmert casually hoisted him on his own petard.....making the point that if the hordes were coming here to escape drug cartels, why is it they are consorting w/ the nasty criminals, and are paying the violent breed to accompany them over the border?

Definitely not the behavior of someone in mortal fear, "forced" to escape to the US for protection. More likely, the swarm is in collusion w/ the cartels. Better check those backpacks.

USCIS rubber-stamper Leon Rodriguez, a recent Obama appointee, oversees the legitimization of the border swarm. Moreover, Rodriguez administers EB-5 visas as head of USCIS (A DHS agency).....EB-5's are said to involve major threats to US national security.

===============================================

BACKSTORY In an earlier statement----citing a Homeland Security Investigations memo----Sen Charles Grassley said the oversight federal agency ICE identified key vulnerabilities in EB-5 visas:

1) Export of sensitive technology/economic espionage.

2) Use by foreign government agents/espionage.

3) Use by terrorists.

4) Investment fraud by regional center.

5) Investment fraud by investors.

6) Fraud conspiracies by investors and regional center.

7) Illicit finance/money laundering.

==================================================

Rodriguez's confirmation hearings revealed he was a board member of Casa Maryland---a latino-centric advocacy group---pushing for unlimited immigration, and has connections to nationwide immigrant groups.
