It’s hard to even imagine a judge allowing a search of files with attorney client privileged info in them and then taking the word of investigators they didn’t read a thing in them.
As far as retrying him it’s pathetic, he has spent more than enough time behind bars already.

If you recall the cases against the Haditha and Hamdania Marines all the Judges were ranks of Lt. Cols and above, and lead Trial Council were Majors to Lt. Cols. The current judge over Hutchins is a Capt, and TC is also Capt, so Govt is not using big guns since the political climate is not as it was in 2006. Govt is throwing in a few Captains to get their feet wet and drag this out hoping Hutchins just gives in. Hutchins will not give in!!
