It’s unbelievable that MabASS is still pushing this persecution.
If you recall the cases against the Haditha and Hamdania Marines all the Judges were ranks of Lt. Cols and above, and lead Trial Council were Majors to Lt. Cols. The current judge over Hutchins is a Capt, and TC is also Capt, so Govt is not using big guns since the political climate is not as it was in 2006. Govt is throwing in a few Captains to get their feet wet and drag this out hoping Hutchins just gives in. Hutchins will not give in!!
With everything that is going on in Iraq right now, the military’s continued interest in re-prosecuting this one Marine seems ridiculous. He’s been through enough.
