Tiffany Mitchell, a woman who says she witnessed a police officer shoot and kill Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, shared her story during an appearance on CNN with her attorney Wednesday night.
Mitchell said she was driving when she saw Brown trying to pull away from an officer as the two were "tussling through a window."
She said she had hoped to get a video because the incident "just didn't look right," but failed to get her camera out in time.
"I didn't know exactly what was going on, but I knew it didn't look right for someone to be wrestling with the police through the police window, but I didn't get a video because a shot was fired through the window, so I tried to get out of the way," Mitchell said.
Mitchell then described what she saw happen between Brown and the police officer.
"As I pull onto the side, the kid, he finally gets away, he starts running. As he runs the police get out of his vehicle and he follows behind him, shooting," Mitchell said.
"And the kid's body jerked as if he was hit from behind, and he turns around and puts his hands up like this, and the cop continued to fire until he just dropped down to the ground and his face just smacks the concrete."
Mitchell clarified she heard a shot after she saw Brown trying to pull away from the cop, and said even after Brown turned to face the cop and put his hands in the air, "the cop continued to come up on him and shoot him until he fell down to the ground."
She said she counted "more than about five or six shots."

THANK YOU! This was a GOOD kid who was planning on going to college in the hopes of being a productive citizen. I’m not sure what happened yet, but the silence by the police on this is very loud. So are some of the incendiary comments by the police chief. For the record, Michael Brown’s family has STOPPED taking part in the vigils, etc. because they do not want the current riots to continue.
I was driving through that part of St Louis with a buddy of mine that grew up in Chicago. He got very nervous and kept saying, I don’t like driving in this part of town, let’s get back to the interstate.
He is a tough fellow in most regards but said after we were back to the outskirts of St.Louis, “That’s why I left Chicago — couldn’t stand the inner city.”
I do not know if this cop is guilty of any crimes. However, his life is now effectively over. There’s a 99% chance of him facing state charges and a 100% chance of facing federal charges. He’s in for a few “interesting” decades, to be sure.
This Shiite is getting out of hand.
If the story surrounding the circumstances of this death are about on par, then the LEO community needs to get in front of this STAT, denounce unwarranted violence by their brother and arrest him PDQ.
Further, this rioting must be quelled, again STAT.
There is no excuse for wanton malicious mischief, violence, burglary, destruction of totally innocent peoples property, impairing their lively hood, putting innocents in danger and generally everything the crowds have engaged in.
That the police are simply creating demarcations is not useful nor conducive for peace.
They need to move on the crowds and force their retreat.
Bad PR? Sure but, firing rubber bullets, flash bangs and gas accomplish nothing.
Just have the mayors and the governor declare martial law and curfew, then work closely with community leaders and have a few press conferences a day to update.
I admitted no such thing
my scenario has just as much evidence as the one you posited.
No it doesn't --
You want to hang the cop and whatever scenario allows you to do that is the one you accept.
Is that another accusation for which you have no evidence??? You're racking them up.
That fact that Eric Holder has done nothing speaks volumes
Baloney -- the FBI is only interested in Civil Rights violations.
The State and County handle murder cases.
I asked you to post your evidence and all I got was ##crickets##. That speaks volumes for you.
You were there?
Thank you, but is it possible to be sitting in an SUV seat, encumbered by the steering wheel and cop stuff, to lean out the window (is the SUV up toward 6 feet tall?) and grab a guy by the neck while twisting in the seat? I think yes if the guy was leaning down or into the window. I think that a cop would BE DUMB arse stupid, didn’t learn squat in the Police Academy about his own safety at least, for instigating something while trapped in his police car. This part of him just reaching out, I assume with his left arm, to just grab (while seated in Police SUV) a 6’4’’, 300 lb man by the neck. I have a hard time believing that. The restriction in the seat would be enough to question that scenario. If I use the lady witness, this was going on through the window (if i’m not mistaken), not through the “open” door. It all doesn’t make sense. If the first witness was ducking behind the SUV, how could he see the altercation completely? In the days of social media and that non-public groups/agenda MSM can get a story out, to heck whether it’s true or not, and whomever gets their story out first is the winner. People on social media and rely on MSM/agenda baiters think, “they read it in the news, so it must be true”. I want to read the police report. Either side doesn’t make sense. Only a dumb cop, clearly shouldn’t be a cop, would escalate something while he’s trapped in his car.
The forensic evidence was and so were the witnesses --
How is it that the LEO and kid were fighting through the window of his patrol vehicle?
Doesn’t make sense unless the kid jumped the officer, leaving him few choices.
Even if the kid had a past of violence, being shot as your run running away and supposedly again, while he was on the ground doesn’t seem right and LEO’s don’t have the right to end a life under that circumstance, particularly if he was unarmed.
Then it was a good driving...
Besides, who "tussles" with a cop anyway? That's evidence right there!
So? He was black.

Good for them —
These “details” being essential to the continued riot baiting keeping up the senseless waste and violence. Make sure the “hood” thinks it knows he’s white... or for that matter the “poh-lice” Yeah that will help.
Some chickie driving through the neighborhood says she ....”saw” and “didn’t look right”. So, how would she know what “looked right”.
How did the officer get the “child” to come over to his closed car door and reach inside?
The officer is beaten up btw.
The biggest word in the English language is “IF.”
Post it.
You’ve never been charged with a single *misdemeanor*,let alone four *felonies*???
Good grief! You ain’t living. Not even trying.
Do you get your Internet from a wireless connection setup outside your cave?

Where is St Ann?
For the record? Juvenile records are sealed until legal age. This is pure fabrication by media. They do not know. Unlike the trayvon case which had a school drug situation and social media photos to “characterize” the ute.
Release name now before investigation is out, would be a death sentence for the cop, IMHO.
Police, if someone is causing a disturbance walking in traffic (if that is what he was doing), have a right to tell someone move out of the road, that they might cause an accident. I’d be pissed if I’d hit someone who wouldn’t get out of the road and I learned a cop had driven by and couldn’t care less that two dudes were in the middle of the road, and weren’t just crossing. That being said, we need the report, including ballistics. I think that the PD should have certainly removed the victim off the ground and sent him to the hospital regardless. Certainly better PR than leaving him there for all the phone users to take pics and jack up feelings. The cops that shot that homeless camping guy in the park. They even released the video. That was Police State run amok, but no one went out and used that horrific killing to commit the crimes of: theft, looting, arson, molotov cocktails, beating of “whites”...... This could be handled better on all sides. I’m calling out ALL OF THEM. The Civil Rights race baiters need to quit the avocation and justification of violence, esp. their crap is toward innocents. Speaking for myself, I would still like a police force to take care of the criminals or how are WE GOING TO LIvE with lawlessness?
Someone who wants to get away from him especially when he has you by the neck.
That's evidence right there!
Actually the police can verify that if they did a modicum of labwork. They should have taken scrapings from the fingernails of the officer's left hand and the kid's neck.
If they didn't they were neglectful in their duties.
