What has that got to do with stealing Iphones and Air Jordans? And where is that happening???
To: Uncle Chip
Someone posted a criminal record a day or so ago, and it looked legitimate - an incident back in February, if I remember correctly.
There were 4 separate charges relating to whatever happened, and they looked pretty serious.
I also saw a photograph of Michael Brown wearing “colors”, and flashing a gang hand sign.
I have no idea what to think, except I wish people would not challenge (or appear to challenge) police when there is a situation.
Considering the pressure that urban police face on a daily basis, and the lack of time an officer has to make a decision about the use of his weapon, it is stupid to act in a threatening way.
Not that I think all police are without fault - many are wired way too tight, and apt to react first, think second.

Here is the best and closest witness who is very credible:
Why do you say that this witness is "very credible"? That is quite a strong endorsement to make, and I am curious how you arrived at that conclusion.

So the cop drives up and tries to pull the guy thru the window of the cop car while the guys hands are in the air? Very believable.

So they have all the cool surplus armaments from Iraq and Afghanistan, but why the camo outfits? What game do they think they're playing?

What is the recent history of successful convictions of looters in riot type situations? Are most of these crimes likely to be caught on camera?

Have you listened to him???

The “no justice no peace” protestors and the rioters create difficult conditions for either justice or peace. If they want justice and peace they should go home.

1st & 2nd photos of the MRAP (on top)...is that one of those new-fangled ultrasonic crowd control devices? Like the ones used by the Japanese on “Whale Wars”?

No, I haven't. Is that what you are basing his credibility on? I have known many people who sound very credible, but are completely untrustworthy. So I tend to discount that. Anyway, I was just curious if there was some substantive reason to put a lot of stock in his account, given that he is hardly unbiased.
I just remember how the public narrative of the Trayvon Martin case turned out to be completely false, and would think people would have learned their lesson by now.
