At this years American Bar Association annual meeting in Boston, ABA President James R. Silkenat took the opportunity to tout the ABAs Standing Committee on Gun Violence. I always make sure my lawyers are not Aba members.
If I lived in an urban Democrat-run hellhole, bad guys with guns wouldn't worry me any more than bad guys with knives, baseball bats, golf clubs or fists. But then again, bad guys in general are the criminal defense lawyer's bread and butter.
How would that ABA program worked out for the Yazidi Refuges on Mount Sinjar?
The ABA should police their profession. Period.
Engaging in other actions should end their privileged position - their stranglehold on the judiciary.
Funny thing, all these people live in very safe upscale neighborhoods. Many live in gated communities, some with armed security.
Ruling class vs slave class.
Just like the AMA and Doctors, not a large percentage of lawyers belong to the ABA - it is a haven for leftists - abortion, guns, probably global warming slake their interests. Scum.
The ABA hates private citizens with guns because they cut into the their members’ revenue stream.
(Act IV, Scene II, Henry VI, William Shakespeare)
After perverting our justice system into a system that consists of pure persecutors, liars for hire and demigods using the system for their gains they are now embarking on another perversion.
apparently the ABA includes some lawyers who don’t realize they are in the United States of America.
...”the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed...”

At the end of the article they mentioned irrational zero tolerance policies, and that is kind of a mystery, in that state legislatures should have long ago put their foot down about this nonsense, but other than some tentative steps, they haven’t.
It makes no sense, in that many of these legislatures are profoundly pro-gun, but allow intimidation of children by those who are rabidly anti-gun.
There is really no reason to join the ABA. Professionally, there are a lot of reasons not to join. As far as I’m concerned, that goes for the State bar associations as well.
Lawyer here. Screw the ABA. They do NOT speak for me.
So why has any Conservative Gun rights supporter every given anything but the thumbs down to lawyers and would be judges supported by the “American Bar Association”?
Its clearly a democrat advocacy organization.
Agree. Worthless. And to join is often interpreted as “support” for their cockamaime stands.
