NEW YORK The question from a fan in a Sirius XM interview last year was innocent what do you think youd be doing if you didnt become a comedian? and within seconds Robin Williams was impersonating physicist Stephen Hawking getting a lap dance at a strip club.

This is the second post you made like this nortex....God has a special place for dickweeds like you. You should take a serious look at your hate filled self in the mirror
Well said . I’m with you .
Fixed.
I realize that the family of a suicide have their demons to deal with. I still don’t think they trump the individual who is going through enough pain to make them consider the need to end their own life.
I don’t know what demons Williams was dealing with. I’m not going to damn the guy. Others are sorry he’s gone because they wanted more from him.
I’m not happy he’s gone, but I am happy his pain has ended.
Christians won’t see that thought favorably. I understand that. This guy was experiencing incredible pain.
Understand that pain.
I’m not going to fault him.
Go for it. Have a dry heave on me.
There is a lot of classless crap going on around here over this man's death.
For all we know he had been diagnosed with a progressive and degenerative disease and opted out to keep from spending the estate on terminal care, thinking that a selfless act. We don't know. I'm not going to second guess him, but if I was a family member and ran across this sort of denigration of someone I loved, It would leave me bitter indeed.
I thought FReepers were better than that.
I don't think Sarah deserves to be mocked, but at least she can respond to it. She's tough, she can handle it.
He's dead, and you are all just dumping salt in the family's wounds.
You and Todd Bridges are in the same company. Blech.....horrible. Why would you want to be on the side of Todd Bridges of all people?????
SOMETIMES they do if the policy is over two or three years old.
So your fearless leader had this to say:
“Robin Williams was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny, a president, a professor, a bangarang Peter Pan, and everything in between. But he was one of a kind. He arrived in our lives as an alien but he ended up touching every element of the human spirit. He made us laugh. He made us cry. He gave his immeasurable talent freely and generously to those who needed it most from our troops stationed abroad to the marginalized on our own streets. The Obama family offers our condolences to Robins family, his friends, and everyone who found their voice and their verse thanks to Robin Williams.”
What is a “bangarang”? Urban dictionary lists one meaning as “A bangarang is someone you can keep having sex with, you leave and then you return for more sex. Like a friend with benefits.”
And also as “...cool”. Understand the reference here is to Hook...
ya got me..
I'm sure you realize that "speak no evil of the dead" is never apparent here.
his work will speak for itself. i personally found his serious work the best. outside of aladdin, which worked, he was usually too hyper in comedy, outside of on stage. but he made us all laugh. yes, he was a lib, but a tortured one none the less. unless we’ve felt his pain we should give him a break.
They were brilliant when they were on. they rapidly fell into a depressed state, off stage. Performing for many of them was their drug.
I was one of them. Somehow got through it.
The guy was a massive USO supporter and donated much of his prodigious talent to charitable causes. He had his demons to contend with for sure.
During one of his USO shows (Afghanistan?) he took a cheap shot at President “W” Bush. The Service members began to “boo.”
He took a step back, waved his hands and said something like “Whoa! Okay, I got it! Don’t make fun of the boss-man!” The crowd erupted in laughter and applause.
Entertainers are human and humans are biased by nature. You’ll never change that.
he should have went to www.fhu.com...could have saved him easily.
I thought FReepers were better than that.
They do not swim with the school of fish that change their statements based upon the will of the crowd or politically correct and expected statements.
Granted, he was a funny man but the “funny man” was an enemy of the free people of America by using his influence and money to take our rights away in support of the Democrats.
Whether you liked him, his acting, his opinions, his politics, is irrelevant, imho.
Keep kicking the body to show us what a great guy and defender of freedom you are. Freedom includes the freedom to be wrong, too.
Surely you jest?
Its getting harder to disregard the crap I see posted here lately. The SNR has deteriorated over the last 15 years or so.
Is that an expression of sympathy for the pain he just inflicted on his family? You sound like a liberal over at DUmmieland
Reagan was pretty good at telling the truth. You can go ahead and join in the worship and adoration if you want. The cold, hard reality for his family is just now setting in with them.
I agree. On some of these threads I just picture bitter old crones banging on the keyboard. Republicans should be the party of optimism. Reagan certainly was an optimist, and I never recall him saying bad words about anyone. But the bitter self-righteousness I see here sometimes makes me think I stumbled into a Democrat chat forum.
