The part of his brain that provided such comedic genius probably NEVER CUTS OFF. I am not comparing myself with Mr. Williams but I have the same problem. Part of my brain NEVER SHUTS DOWN — it gives me anxiety and insomnia and a constant battle to avoid chemical solutions. As I said, I suspect that was the case — and has been the case with so many brilliant people.

Misspelling a word (I will grant you that it may have happened although you don’t specify in which post such an error occurred) is not the same as choosing the wrong word.
Fingers may strike the wrong keys. Brains (or lack thereof) choose the words in the appropriate context.
