I’m sorry to be blunt, but Red Skelton did a lot of risqué material. He was restricted by morality laws of broadcast/film. He was a vaudvillian and was exposed to and used to a lot of uncleanness. When he got older, maybe he realized the error of his way, but that error got him his success.
I speak from a level of knowledge. He is one of the key people I studied when learning standup. Milton Burle, George Burns, and Bobby Slayton were among the others I studied.
It’d be ironic if he was a black cop... the racebaiters/racehustlers are counting/ BANKING on him being white, for a big payday.
IMHO WC Fields and Groucho Marx were among the finest
A caller to Chris Plante revealed how they will respond if that is the case. The racebaiters will say the black cop was an uncle tom.
Reports are saying he was a black cop.
They were comedy legends. Watched Marx Brothers and Abbott and Costello movies last night.
Are you talking about that liar caller race baiter James?
He said a black cop is paid by white racists to do their bidding.
Yep. The dirtbag showed exactly what they will do.
Love it love it!
Many of the new comedians leave me cold.

Did I just hear the news report right that he also slit his wrists?
I’ve been watching a lot of Vitaphone shorts of Vaudeville performers in the ‘20s, and some of their material would surprise you.
I’m still shocked that Eddie Cantor got away with “Whoopee”.
Yep.
Old WC Fields was wildly racy.

Some of the films...ones you won’t hear about unless you study it...were really risque. The only way you can ban unthinkable acts on film is becausesome depraved person thought of it and someone said, “You can’t do that. “ Most of the stuff they forbade after getting made was destroyed.
When I was in San Francisco a couple weeks ago, we were on Fishermans Wharf. They have an arcade/museum. A lot of old nickelodeon machines pushed the indecency envelope. It takes a lot to embarrass me, and I had to stop looking.
Ran out of quarters, eh? LOL
Whatever his color, when his name is released, his life has been “Zimmermanned” now.
