After all what fueled race car driving was prohibition.
Moonshiners had to hop up their cars to evade the Po Po and racing took off as a result.

We got so much rain yesterday that every house around me, for miles, flooded with 10-12 inches of rainwater. It was just gushing like geysers out of floor drains.
Every house.....except mine.
I am feeling very blessed today.

We’ve got large cells moving-up from the Carolinas and Virginias, and more coming from the west. I was headed south on I-83 for a morning meeting, and had to pull over until the down-pours stopped, and 1-2” of water drained-off the road. Cars and trucks were hydroplaning all over the place, and pulling-off to safety. More coming north right now, but I’m staying put for a while.
