Ferguson, Missouri (KMOV.com) – What started as a peaceful prayer vigil Saturday evening to remember a young man gunned down by police, has escalated into full scale riots and looting in Ferguson, Missouri.
Angry mobs have smashed windows, set fires and looted businesses as a massive showing of police, some wearing riot gear have moved into the area along West Florissant just south of 270.
Police are also responding to reports of shootings throughout the area. At one point, windows of a News 4 live truck were smashed out by the angry crowd.

No one on this thread has tried to excuse the looting. That said, we’ve all seen cases of the police lying to cover up a wrong. We don’t know what happened here yet.
In my CHL class, they stressed to shoot enough times to neutralize the threat and no more. Why was it necessary to shoot Mike Brown ten times? The Ferguson Police Chief has confirmed that he was unarmed and shot “more than a few times.” Multiple eyewitnesses report that he had his hands up in the air. That seems excessive based on currently known information.

Article says the teens/thugs/wannabe gangstas(?) were waling out in the street, the cop told them to walk on the sidewalk, not out in the street and the “teens” FU’ed the cop by continuing to walk down the middle of the street.
I can see that FU pissed the cop.
Locally, the whites, orientals and hispanics walk the sidewalks. I have seen blacks deliberately walk along, in the street, hindering traffic as a FU attitude thing. Annoying to law-abiding people to have young people with such bad manners.
No sympathy here. Too many blacks go around with a racist attitude and a huge chip on the shoulder.
Such then just grow up to be looters....er, like the adult blacks looting and robbing.

exactly my point. We don’t know what happened , and to hear crap like the mistrust of the police or anti cop rants before all facts are in is what the lame stream loves.
Lets all chill out, have the rioters, thieves, scumbags etc arrested in this and wait till all facts are presented, and not on the TV either.
The police have been abusing a lot of people lately, killing dogs, beating tea-party protestors, militarizing, killing kids in no-knock raids. This shooting may have been 100% justified, but all their recent misdeeds leaves me unsympathetic. My sympathy is for the business owners and decent people in the area.
No excuse necessary in E. Saint Louis- standard operating procedure.

That image angers me. I don’t care if they’re defending society from looters. This is the culmination of a decades long process to destabilize a great country.

The only thing that will make it better is liberal whites trying to join the protest and getting caught in the riot.
Someone needs to get in front of them, and lead them to police headquarters. Loot that!
