When is a group recognized as a cult in the U.S.? When is a group recognized as a religion in the U.S.? What are the guidelines?

Since the muzzie’s doctrine, the koran, demands they kill us non-muzzies, I don't understand why they are afforded 1st Amendment protection. Whoever said the Bill of Rights isn't a suicide pact was right.

At the very least, a 1st Amendment religion must include non-punishment for non-believers as a part of its essential religious teachings.

Not requiring the replacement of the Constitution with medieval legal concepts is probably a close second.

Disallowing slavery is probably up there too.

You see, concerning Islam, these issues aren't exactly nuanced. Rather, they present themselves as screaming neon billboards.
