The New York Times seemed to have caught the Pentagon by surprise this evening when it issued a breaking news alert about American forces bombing two targets in Iraq.
The Pentagon firmly denied that American forces had begun a bombing campaign. But Pentagon officials said it was possible that allies of the United States, either the Iraqi or Turkish militaries, had conducted the bombing.

If they harm one American, Congress can declare war on them. Who, Boehner? Yeah, if he was sober...and had a backbone...and a brain...and Jarrett said it was OK.

“CNN saying it is Iraqi Air Force.”
The combat ready wing of the Iraqi Air Force consists of Iranian MiGs, Iranian Pilots, Iranian ground crews, and Iranian comms interlink systems.
So... maybe it was the Iraqi Air Force.

Maybe the Kurds made a deal with the Turks for help. Maybe they promised to move all the Kurds out of Turkey if they got support to claim all Northern Iraq as Kurd country. I doubt it but maybe....

You know, with the Pope asking countries to step up and defend Christians in the ME I'm seeing the shadowy outlines of a something that looks like a huge wedge someone who has been outspoken about the West needing to return to Christian morality could use to their advantage by stepping up and helping defend Christians from ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
Assuming anyone would want to do that, of course.

Probably Russian pilots. A great opportunity to step in and save iraq after soetoro left them hanging.

It doesn’t matter who did the bombing. Just remember that

Humanitarian flight? Would that involve a few slow flying gunships loaded to the gills as "escort", to, ah, kind of lay down some fire, to cover the humanitarian flight, you see....
One can dream.
