Russian strategic nuclear bombers entered U.S. airspace at least 16 times during the past 10 days, marking an unusually sharp increase of aerial incursions, The Washington Free Beacon reported.
The intrusions by Tu-95 Russian Bear H heavy bombers prompted the scrambling of U.S. fighter jets on several occasions. On one occasion, a Russian intelligence-gathering jet was detected along with the bombers near Alaska.
“Over the past week, NORAD has visually identified Russian aircraft operating in and around the U.S. air defense identification zones,” said Maj. Beth Smith, spokeswoman for U.S. Northern Command and the North American Aerospace Defense Command told the Beacon.

i wonder, if some foreign power walked in and said they’re taking over... and 0bama agreed... would the american left care? would the current fedgov do anything to stop it, after the foreign dictator agree to give them a juicy pension and cozy seats in a nice office in the new govt?

A similar issue came up with the WVA miners finally figuring out that they voted themselves out of a living. Too late on that! Likewise, a commie is a commie regardless of nationality...you could even say commie is their nationality. They’re surely not “Americans”!

This is Putin playing the suburban game of ring and run on Barky which is played by teens all over America. This has zero military importance as Bears are not going to be a nuke delivery system of any importance were the balloon ever to go up.
Why does he need to test them....he has access to everything China has access to.
We need to put a squadron of P 51Ds together immediately. Jets are much too fast to shoot down these TU-95s. Turn off the radar, these old babies are so loud that we can use sound detectors. Call all retirement communities. The pilots of these things are all over 70! (And deaf.)
If this Putin character doesn't shape up, we must retaliate by sending B-36s over Russia, immediately!
They are not so much “testing” as making threatening gestures.
