Uh...okay, maybe only two or three posters *really* hammered me, but still, it was in the multiples.

Except that...it wasn’t.

And you don’t count, since you haven’t read any of my posts (evidently).

Sorry, but you are wrong to want to send our serum to Africa, post 17 and my response to it are very clear.

Here’s what you need to do. Try to find at least one other person to MISinterpret what I said. I.e.: you have totally misinterpreted all my posts, and you CANNOT let it go. But you have zero credibility w me precisely because you have misinterpreted every single post I made. So go ahead and try to find someone else who believes I said what you claim I said. Let them read ALL my posts and then clobber me over the head with them. If it’s just you, it doesn’t count because you can’t grasp what I’ve been saying. But if you can find someone else to similarly misinterpret what I’ve said...well, then we’ll talk.

The sociopath speaks. African deaths don’t touch him. Doesn’t matter if they are mere children or if the death is painful. Ditto any other deaths that don’t touch him directly. He is without empathy. He thinks only of himself. If the case were made to him that he could be seen as a hero, & this would be a critical part of his legacy, he might allow it. But only because he saw self-benefit. Other than that, he is content to play ‘god’ & allow people he has no personal feeling for to die like plague rats.

That reads that you are attacking him for not releasing the Ebola drug to "share with Africa".

Actually my problem with him is that he’s a sociopath. All the other problems stem from that.

Sorry, but we are at the very beginning of this and the next 6 months are unknown, and you want to send our Ebola drugs to Africa.

If you didn’t like my last question, how about this one. Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that we really do only have 2 or 3 Ebola drug doses on hand. Do you think Obama is right to (1) not do what he can to encourage/facilitate maximum production, and (2) deny fast-tracking to the drug, so as to delay FDA approval?

Don’t you think it might be a little early in this outbreak...

That's a good question.

The outbreak might not be large enough yet to satisfy Obama's thirst for grandeur.

If he release the cure now and the outbreak is contained, he may get some headlines for a week or two.

But if the pandemic spreads across all the continents and thousdands die, and then Obama releases the cure to a panicked world, he will be hailed as the savior of the whole Earth.

Excellent point. He’s becoming totally preoccupied with his legacy these days. [I recall Bill Clinton going through the same phase. Then along came Monica.] Since he’s bombed on everything else, he may look to Ebola to save his bacon. However, since the only ‘successes’ Obama has had are in destroying, breaking & ruining things, this doesn’t auger well. Look out world, if Obama is supposed to finally, at long last, ‘fix’ something .

But seriously, if it is really a candidate cure looking for a test, then test it. Do we have Ebola here? If yes, then test it here. If no, then test it where the Ebola is.

One doctor said they only had a handful and they have been working with Ebola here for years, and injecting monkeys to cure them, but what we do have I would want us to keep for a while, we have a lot of Army and CDC people fighting Ebola in Africa, and people here using it in labs, and more missionaries, any of them or some other citizen may need it.
