Don’t you think it might be a little early in this outbreak...

That's a good question.

The outbreak might not be large enough yet to satisfy Obama's thirst for grandeur.

If he release the cure now and the outbreak is contained, he may get some headlines for a week or two.

But if the pandemic spreads across all the continents and thousdands die, and then Obama releases the cure to a panicked world, he will be hailed as the savior of the whole Earth.

Excellent point. He’s becoming totally preoccupied with his legacy these days. [I recall Bill Clinton going through the same phase. Then along came Monica.] Since he’s bombed on everything else, he may look to Ebola to save his bacon. However, since the only ‘successes’ Obama has had are in destroying, breaking & ruining things, this doesn’t auger well. Look out world, if Obama is supposed to finally, at long last, ‘fix’ something .
