A New Jersey police officer dealt with the complaints of an animal rights activist in a manner that can only be described as a sad sign of the times: Obama just decimated the freakin Constitution, so I dont give a damn."
The activist, Steve Wronko had gone to the Helmetta Police Department with a list of complaints regarding the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter and to voice his complaints about perceived violations of his Constitutional rights.

The video was posted Monday by activists trying to bring changes to the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter in New Jersey, which they claim have been violating state health codes.
The activists maintain a Facebook page where they post public records, exchange information and provide updates on developments.

The cop is right. We all get to pick and choose which laws to obey.
If someone in power starts randomly shooting people in the street, you would be for cops doing the same?
Reminds me of when we were kids and parents asked us if we would jump off a bridge if one of our friends did it.
I don’t care for it much either. I do find it amusing that NPR has so many of them on there though.
It probably is because Americans assume anyone who doesn’t speak like a hood-rat must be intelligent and informed...

Yep, that was my first thought, although I’m not sure he shoul have said it in that setting.
