If they were muslim not a word would have been said for fear of law suits.
But because they are Christians they can be persecuted for quietly praying over their meal.
I don't think it would hold up in a court of law. 1st Amendment trumps it.

While the mall cop was busting up a prayer circle, teenage thugs burgled six cars and beat up several shoppers.

dear mall management:
did you know that a church pays no property taxes?
have you checked with your attorney to see if praying on the premises allows you to claim that you’re a church?
it just might be more to your advantage to encourage these women...
just sayin’

Boycott and protest the mall entrance to parking lots. Still private property but NOT on the street entrance.

Someone ought to post a list of businesses who use the mall, along with their contact information, so their customers can let then know what they think about the fact that they are doing business with a Christophobic enterprise.

But Tammy said they werent trying to convert anybody they were just trying to pray.True, but if the mall allows you - and all others - to continue, the next religious group may not be so benign.

I’ve seen this report in a couple of places, but no identification of the location is provided beyond “the local mall.” Wonder why.

Dublin, GA, is a small town. Doubtful it has more than one mall of any kind.

Change it to a bunch of bearded savages, and the next day the mall opens a ROP only praying room, complete with prayer rugs and foot baths.

I bet this same mall has a no CCW rule too. One of the reasons I stopped going to malls. I order what I want off Amazon these days.
That happy holiday crap they sell as Christmas I refuse to do. I buy gift cards in 10 mins, and send them to my grands and great grands. Hubby’s gift came from Amazon with a gift card. Kroger’s was doing 4 times the gas points that week. That took a $1 off a gal of gas to boot. And I only went 3 miles from the house.

It’s private property. I could understand if they were causing a disturbance or bothering other shoppers. perhaps a silent prayer next time.

What does it matter if it is private or public property, being able to pray is the right of Every American Citizen.
I don’t like the NO CCW rules, so I avoid the malls. Our nearest is high crime. Not to mention it caters to the youth, not to seniors. It is not wheel chair friendly either.

Ive seen this report in a couple of places, but no identification of the location is provided beyond the local mall. Wonder why The news story I saw yesterday identified it as the "Dublin Mall," and provided a handy picture of the front of the mall with that name in big letters.

You missed the part where it said the mall is private property. 'private' True. Of course, the other thing that is private is where people to choose to exercise their spending decisions.

That First Amendment thingy really means that you can pray if you must behind closed doors where you won’t bother anybody.
