Not sure where these votes are coming from, but Ole Plaid is not yet running away with it.

Joe is doing better than many expected, but in TN all that ever counts is Lamar!

Those minor candidates, though not crucial to the vote, are nevertheless a distraction and essentially useless to the process.

Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander likely secured his Senate seat for another term Tuesday, handily
winning the GOP primary in a safe Republican state. Alexander led state Rep. Joe Carr 52.4 percent to 37.4 percent, with 20 percent of precincts reporting when The Associated Press called the race.

Good ole boy Lamar was already on FOX this morning hyping up how he can work across the aisle to get things done.

He also said he could “change” Obamacare.

It is so hopeless with these people. Argh!

TN Lamar! people are as predictable as their cousins in KY, SC, MS, and TX.

Our Indiana guys are as RINO like as you could imagine. It is depressing. I guess term limits is the only way to go.

This “work across the aisle” thing is a huge turn off. He also didn’t say he wanted to get rid of Obamacare. Why vote for this person?

People are too stupid.

True, but the Lugar minions went on a mission of retaliation to undermine Mourdock and we got a dhimmi.

I will mention Mourdock didn’t help by being un media savvy when asked the terrifying abortion questions.

Oh well:(

I pulled these from the TN.gov website just now:

Lamar Alexander - 329,929
Joe Carr - 269,883
George Shea Flinn - 34,568
Christian Agnew - 11,214
Brenda S. Lenard - 7,868
John D. King - 7,727
Erin Kent Magee - 3,345

Total votes cast - 664,534

Lamar’s percentage is 49.65%. If our primaries were closed AND the top two had to have a runoff we could get him out unless he pulled a Thad.

Democrats would win easily if they ran McIntyre in NC, Heath Shuler in TN(I think he would be eligible)and John Barrow in GA.

Lugar would have voted for the cop killer lawyer Debo Adegbile and voted for the specific Assault Weapons Bill (Donnelly voted for Toomey bill).

Even Donnelly didn’t do that.

It was worth the risk.

Lamar, Lugar, Bennett and Murkowski are all worse than Lindsey Graham.

Graham hasn’t exactly managed to get amnesty or as many wars as he wants. An angry 60 year old bachelor talking about hispanic family values doesn’t sell.

Donnelly was a 2 time statewide winner, no one could have predicted he’d have made that stupid rape comment (AFTER Todd Akin did, AFTER, unbelievable) that cost him the election.
