Unless you use a prayer rug.....................
This probably only applies to Christian prayers.
If Muslims want to go in there and pray, I think that accomodations will be made for Muslims.
Unless, they're islamojihadist in burkas.
Is that so the Muslims won’t unroll their rugs and block traffic?
Bless your burger and fries.. Go to Jail!!
I intend to go to this mall, go to the security moron, have him get the mall superintendent, and tell him I am about to pray.
I will bow my head, and silently pray.
If they ask me to stop, I will refuse.
I will do it until I am arrested.
Then I will sue them until I own the damned (literally) place.
Bet if they were Muslims praying they would have allowed it.
Being a Georgian, I think a through boycott of the Mall of Georgia by all people of faith in the Atlanta area would go a long way.
The SCOTUS already ruled malls are part of the public square, and such speech is protected. Take them to court, and make some money. There are free lawyers that do it to set legal precedent.
My prayer group has met for years at Starbuck’s in San Jose, Ca., on Friday mornings. No complaints so far.
This situation just begs for large collective disobedience. Groups should go to the Mall and pray all over the place. The mall won’t be able to sustain their position.
A secular (probably lapsed Christian) idiot mall cop tells a nice group of Christian women that they can’t pray (even silently over their meals) and most of the comments are about Islam? I understand that the same government idiots who violate Christian rights out of hatred toward religion often accomodate Muslim rights out of love of diversity (and not religion), but can we, as a group, get a bit of perspective and perhaps evaluate each story on its merits?
Paging Jay Sekulow....
Flux ‘em... Pray anyway.
Turn the mall into a massive prayer meeting...roll the cameras and video-—come and arrest if they dare...tyrants.
The muslim taxi drivers can continue to refuse rides to people they don’t like however.
Carry on.
This will end as soon as they hire their first Muslim!
So, saying grace is officially banned in this mall.
Unbelievable.
Was any eminent domain exercised to build this mall because it was a “public place?”
How can they stop people from silently praying in the food court?
