Vladimir Pribylovsky, a well-known Russian researcher of extremist movements in Eurasia, co-author with Yuri Felshtinsky of The Putin Corporation: The Story of Russia's Secret Takeover has documented the relationship between the separatist leaders fighting in the southeast of Ukraine and ultranationalist groups in Russia.
Svetlana Pavlova of Svoboda.org (the Russian-language service of the US-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty) published an interview with Pribylovskky about these connections in June and Pribylovsky added some details in a recent Facebook post.

Aleksandr Boroday, the "prime minister of the Donetsk People's Republic" is an associate of Konstantin Malofeyev, an Orthodox businessman and supporter of nationalist causes. He wrote for the ultranationalist newspaper Zavtra, published by Aleksandr Prokhanov.
Pavel Gubarev, "people's governor of Donetsk" is a member of the neo-Nazi Russian National Unity (RNE), founded by Aleksandr Barkashov, a karate trainer and bodyguard, in the 1990s. There is a photo of him at an RNE training wearing the group's uniform with its swastika-like insignia. Gubarev has not denied his membership in the RNE, but is said not to have held a leadership post in it. Gubarev was also involved in the Ukrainian Progressive Socialist Party led by Nataliya Vitrenko and ran in local elections. RNE is waning in Russia, but appears to have members fighting in southeastern Ukraine.

The guy running Kiev’s War, or “Anti-Terrorist Operation”, as they call it, Andriy Parubiy, IS AN ACTUAL NAZI, and a publicly-acknowledged Banderist, that founded the fascist “Social-National Party of Ukraine” together with Oleh Tyahnybok, who now heads Svoboda.
The Nazi Right Sector militias in the Southeast answer loosely to Parubiy, and him ALONE, outside of the military chain of command.

Failed what ? It’s obvious for everyone with basic idea about the subject that Putin’s Russia is the most nazi country in the world and that including not only skinheads and such but also Kremlin associated people.
Parubiy is a "secretary" in the National Defense council. He is not running the ATO. These people do:
"Beside the President and his/hers secretary the council consists also of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Minister of Defense, the Head of Security Service of Ukraine, the Minister of Internal Affairs, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The head of the council is the President of Ukraine assisted by secretary whom he is allowed to appoint."

So they "loosely" answer to Parubiy, and to him alone? So they only answer to one person, and at that, only "loosely?" That's basically saying that they don't answer to anybody except maybe a little bit, and at that, a secretary whose only role is to advise the President.

I'm not sure how it is "crazy spin." These people are, indeed, Nazis and Stalinists being sent from Moscow.
As for Parubiy, and Svoboda in general, at least they make a public attempt to claim they are moderating and are not extremists (anymore). They do not get a majority of the vote, but, at least, they got some votes, unlike your guys.

I'm not sure your post even makes sense. The Commie part gets taken care of with the picture of people with the Stalin flag. Furthermore, the article isn't by Kiev, it is by this news agency. Also, there are pictures of your guys with Swatsikas, who are supposed to be liberating Ukraine from Nazis, sent from the Kremlin. So it's not like it's hearsay.
Lastly, you should not dislike Nazis anyway, because you basically are one, as you have advocated on this forum, twice, for essentially creating concentration camps for Muslims, regardless if they are Pro-American Kurds, Muhammad with an explosive vest, or the guy running the gas station.

Look at my posting history over the last decade.
I deny that he is publicly a Nazi. He left the far right party in 2004. Now he is with the All-Ukrainian Fatherland party, and was elected under their banner in 2012, and they do not campaign on any anti-semetic or other Nazi like planks, unless you count raising minimum wage. Here, they would be called Democrats.
That doesn't mean he doesn't still support Nazi stuff of course. It just means he might be sneaky.

He is not in charge of the ATO. If he is, please provide evidence for this explaining how the role of an appointed secretary to the President puts him in charge of strategy and in control of the military.
