President Barack Obama was halfway out the door, joking with his counterparts in the press that he had not yet been wished a happy birthday, when a chorus of uniform questions from the assembled reporters forced him to address the recent admission that CIA Director John Brennans intelligence agency had improperly spied on the Senate.
On Thursday, the CIA admitted that intelligence operatives tapped into computers linked to staffers with the Senate Intelligence Committee in March. Those computers contained documents pertaining to an ongoing investigation into the agencys Bush-era enhanced interrogation techniques.
The report, which is set to be declassified, already has human rights activists expressing frustration over the fact that it reportedly refused to call the tactics CIA operatives engaged in torture. The Daily Beats Josh Rogin and Eli Lake explained why: [T]he report will not accuse the CIA outright of torture, an accusation that could have political, diplomatic, legal, and even criminal implications, their dispatch read.
They noted that a secret version of the Senate report has already been seen by key officials, but a declassified version will likely leak out almost immediately after it begins circulating around Washington.

That's so what. It's not a word that should be tossed around lightly and I'm glad to see the Senate report doesn't.
The Hero of Benghazi had to get his beauty sleep rather than allow the evacuation four brave Americans in Libya who were subsequently butchered. But it just raises the hackles on his neck to know that mass murdering terrorists were subjected discomfort during a legal interrogation.
The ultimate POS he is: he took advantage of information gained by so-called torture and did his victory laps when Navy Seals, acting on that information, hit Bin Laden. Now, he turns against the very thing that enabled him to brag about something accomplished by men far better than he will ever dream to be. I despise him more every day. He’s a truly awful person and a worse president.
I doubt you will find anyone on FR who agrees with the traitor in chief on this. If you do, I hope they receive the Zot!
Why would they wish him a happy birthday?
Oh, you’d be surprised . . .
>>Like murder 3 American citizens without process of law?
Like aided in the torture, abuse, and murder of a POW, then cackle with glee and take credit for his criminal death.

There are war criminals in the White House alright. BO knows this is so. Distraction and misdirection are his only card.
HIS values include defending Islamic jihadists.
HIS values include the destruction of the traditional definition of marriage.
HIS values include the suppression of Christian beliefs in the military and corporate world.
Long ago he was asked what "sin was", he said it's that which goes against "his" values. God didn't figure into it.
