This is an op-ed piece written by a friend of mine from Australia, Simon Smith. I brought him on-board to write for the magazine I write for and handle the political editing for. He has written a great opinion piece on the downing of Flight MA17. I will admit that parts of his article may set some off, but give it a read, and let me know what you think.
