The question a thinking man might ask himself is “Why is DHS - of all agencies - turning their attention to what vehicles are purchased by private american citizens?”

The line of mismatched VIN numbers is a distraction in my humble opinion...

Enforcing emissions regulations is a State jurisdiction. The Feds should have no power at all in such a case.

The line of mismatched VIN numbers is a distraction in my humble opinion...

It therefore took an illegal search to get them, but as I am sure you would agree, it's the impoundment by a Federal agency that is the issue here.
