Tuesday at the Congressional Progressive Caucus' Ad-Hoc Hearing on the humanitarian crisis of unaccompanied minors flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border, a 15-year-old boy who made the journey alone from El Salvador accused U.S. Border Patrol of having "mistreated" him at one of the border holding centers overwhelmed by the tens of thousands of children.
The young illegal immigrant complained about being given only "a cold ham sandwich twice a day" because it was not "enough food." He also complained of being given only a nylon blanket for warmth, the lights being left on and no privacy in the bathrooms.
"I felt very mistreated," he said. "My time in the ice boxes was the worst time of my life."
"Please don't mistreat children the way your government has mistreated me," he added.

Take your heart meds before watching
And thus it starts.
A natural Democrat voter. Already whining with the hand out.
BEST AND BRIGHTEST, HUH.....
“Not good enough, I want MORE...”
Entitlement mentality, exactly whom they targeted to import.
Must turn them over to Mexican DPS right away.
Only “humane” thing to do.
Kick that little SOB back to H*LL where he Came From!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I’ll Do It MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m bawling my eyes out/s..
In his so called “testimony” he said that the most “horrifying experience he had on his journey from wherever to the Congress hearing was the time he spent with the BP..
OK so youre not eligible to stay in the US..
and I wouldn’t stay where I was “treated” so bad...
march them all back to wherever they came from
I volunteered at a “reception station” when that happened. Made about 5 million sandwiches (some with my own money) and spent hours handing them out to the incoming buses.
Very often they were thrown on the ground. “We want McDonalds and Coke!!”
Sad, eye opening experience.
Free hot tamales for everyone!!
Buck it up poosy.
America is for competitors only.
LOL
Prolly best response....
Can you believe it? And everyone’s sitting there paying rapt attention. He should have turned around and gone back to El Salvador where presumably he could get his hot sandwiches.
This kid should be taken out into the yard and shot. Then send his corpse back to his mamasita. Then send her a bill for the transportation costs.
These people are disgusting.
The last thing ANY country needs is an influx of criminal teenage males.
Sorry guys.
Many people from other countries do not like air conditioning. They are used to living in warmer climates and living without the air conditioning. This kid is referring to being kept in “ice boxes”, I think he is referring to the a/c.

Cry me a frickin’ Rio Grande, pal. When you’re accepting the charity of others, it’s best to be grateful for ANYTHING you get.
I’ll never forget this one girl I went to high school with. Her church organized a food drive where they were giving away whole chickens. They were free, and no question about the need/status of the people showing up was asked. The ONLY rule was one chicken per person. Sure enough, some big fat broad tried to take two. When my friend tried to explain she couldn’t have a second chick, the woman slapped her across the face and cussed her out. “I need more than one MF chicken!” or something to that effect.
Some people are never grateful, and always want more of whatever you can give them. This little punk sounds like one of them.
he can’t tell his story without writing it down? he has to refer to his notes? what did he eat on his long walk from El Salvador? Steak and potatoes?
