I guess you are one of the “small town/country” guys! I always think I would be, but I get restless when it gets TOO quiet. LOL!
I know what you mean. I live in a very rural area, no neighbors within a half mile except in one direction. Actually none in several miles in some directions.
I still like living in the country but now that I am getting old and most of my family in this area are now deceased, I probably would rather live in a small town.
I have considered moving to be near my Daughter but that is not doable right now.
