State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said her department was deeply troubled by Israels strike on a Gaza power plant, continuing an ongoing trend of Kerrys State Department obliquely criticizing Israels actions.
Were deeply troubled by the humanitarian impact of reduced electricity in Gaza, Psaki told reporters, particularly for emergency services, and urge all parties to respect the civilian nature of these facilities.

Oh Mrs. Psaki, tell your Hamas buddies that if they continue to fire rockets into the state of Israel, they and the people they purport to represent will suffer devastating retaliation.
Liberals.....they really are a bunch of really dumb folks!
All wars have a humanitarian impact. The sooner they are over, the better. Shut up and let Israel do what needs to be done to end it. A bunch of dummies infest the State Dept.
Frankly, I think the most effective, humane way to deal with the rocket fire would have been to cut off all power and power plants the day the first rocket was fired.
Turn it back on when it stops. Just let the Pali’s deal with Hamas after about a week of now power and water.
Your post is offensive. It insults snakes by equating them to Palestinian Mudslimes. Please, immediately apologize to all the poor snakes you’ve so wantonly insulted.
J. F’in Kerry recalls
- it is seared in his brain -
that he didn’t blow out all the power plants in Cambodia -
because it was Christmas, and all the lights were
a’twinklin’

All signs now point to Israel taking out the trash and possibly immunizing the ‘Palestinians’ against Hamas. In order to eradicate the biggest share of pests, you have to gather them in one place.
From the video and stills I saw, the Israelis only hit the oil tanks. While I’m sure the plant was damaged, it looked like the power could be back on with just a little oil and some repairs.
I do miss the live webcams, though.
Pali TV children’s programming proves that they have no civilians. Their only industry is murder.
Yep and any funtioning tunnels no longer have electricity in them.
the IDF should bulldoze a mile wide swath adjacent to the israeli border... and declare it a free fire zone, demolish ALL the tunnels including those coming in from the desert side, and hunt and kill every last PLO and Hamas member... Then peace may have a chance. Also we should tell Qatar and Turkey and Iran to stop funding and supplying the strip with martyr funds and weapons. Israel should inspect everything coming in or out... and if an when things normalize slowly normalize...
I had seen that they destroyed their own powerline, but I think this was a newer separate incident. One report was a that a truck was blown up and damaged the plant. It is likely they were firing rockets from the area, and Israel took them out.
One likely solution is to shut off power to the state department.
Just don’t launch rockets from it and you’ll be fine.
Yeah, but that’s in the USA.
We NEED to reduce our lifestyle, and reducing OUR electrical capacity is a positive humanitarian effort,
whilst reducing other countries’ electrical capacity would be a NEGATIVE humanitarian impact.
Get it?
The State Department’s reaction is deeply troubling.
Thanks Nachum.
