Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson calls Vladimir Putin a 'megalomaniac' - July 29, 2014 - U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson said Russian President Vladimir Putin was a megalomaniac who doesnt care about the Russian economy as he urged the U.S. and its western allies to show resolve in the crisis over Ukraine. We really need to match military strength to military strength, Johnson said as he called for re-equipping the Ukraine military to help the country secure its eastern border, where Russian-backed separatists are battling government forces.
Vladimir Putin is not deterred, Johnson said. Hes going to continue onward unless he realizes someone might stand up to him.
I am more interested in “American separatists”.
The guy is a freakin’ idiot.
Not our monkeys. Not our circus.
I think our megalomaniac has done a much better job at destroying our economy.
The greatest national threat I see is Barack Obama, not Vlad Putin.
Perhaps somebody could tell the Senator that there’s a megalomaniac much closer to home. One who is every bit as rapacious and evil, if not more so.
Can’t get too excited about Ron Johnson’s warnings when he says nothing about our more immediate enemy — Islam in general and ISIS in particular.
Barking up the wrong tree. The next 9/11 will not come from Putin.
“Challenged with force”
I nominate you, Senator, for the first wave of the LaFollette brigade.
I’m very concerned that too many people in Washington want a war with Russia.
