That’s the directive that has gone out to active duty military personnel at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, a Department of Defense medical and graduate school in Bethesda, Md.
The brigade commander sent an email to military personnel at the facility last month – just before the start of Ramadan – advising them to show respect to Muslim colleagues.

It's the government forcing the beliefs of other religious groups on our troops.
Islam isn't really a religion in my opinion, but the government is recognizing it as such, and forcing our troops to think, dress, and act according to a religious belief the majority of them don't practice.

And the muzlims were not told to respect the customs of the majority of colleagues who were not muzlims...
