Amazing to see the “Ukranians = Nazis” thing here. News flash, there were two “extremist” parties in the election, Svoboda and Right Sector. Svobodas Oleh Tyahnybok took 1.16% of the vote. Right Sectors Dmytro Yarosh took 0.70%. Less than two percent of Ukranians voted for them. And they’re not even that extreme - Greece’s Golden Dawn is a hundred times more radical than Right Sector and Svoboda combined. Right Sector even held a ceremony to honor the jews killed in Maidan by Yanukovytch, for crying out loud.
Here’s the reality. Ukraine sat around and timidly did almost nothing for a *month* while gun-toting mercenaries predominantly from another country took over a quarter of their land, because they were too afraid that if they shot at them they might hit their own people. Now that they actually use their military to drive them out and try to get their country back together while the mercs hide in densely populated areas with civilian shields (*cough* Hamas *cough*) and shoot down a bloody passenger jet in the meantime while their sponsor’s military fires artillery and missiles from across the border? Why, dear Lord, fighting those people makes the Ukranians NAZIS! Especially their president, Willy Wonka. I mean Poroschenko. He’s clearly the biggest Nazi of them all! What sort of president would use the military to put down a rebellion to keep his country in one piece? To heck with him, and that Nazi-lover Abraham Lincoln too!

“Amazing to see the Ukranians = Nazis thing here. News flash, there were...”
Now, now. Stop trying to get through to the Putin lovers with facts, logic and common sense. It doesn’t work. They’re like liberals.
That cannot be. RT reported that Yarosh won 700% of the vote.
What they drew in the election means little. Because of the independent armed militias, Obama administration support, and armed strong-arming, they hold power far beyond their numbers, as has been proven many times in recent weeks.
That August 1 deadline is growing closer, and Kiev is out of money, with the next IMF tranche endangered by the fighting. The fall of the government this weekend hasn’t helped any, and has given more power to the Obama-backed Svoboda.
Ukraine has admitted they don’t have enough (unpaid for) gas stored to make it through the winter.
The unrest in the western part of the country, where the cannon fodder are coming from, is growing fast, with armed attacks in recent days against Conscription offices, and the very visible conscript’s mothers protests.
In addition, many Public Sector workers haven’t been paid in weeks.
I said several days ago that time was running out for Kiev, for a number of reasons, and now that time grows near.
Yes, and let's not forget the other extremist in the election, the pro Russian Dobkin. He got 2%.
Great post.
So many false analogies in that, I’m almost embarrassed for you.
Here’s my problem.
After everything Obama has done, and with what he is doing now in Israel, we are just supposed to forget all of that, and just blindly follow him on Ukraine, just this one issue, and ignore the agendas that are at work here?
Ignore everything that happened, leading up to this?
