Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee angered his Facebook fans after endorsing Sen. Lamar Alexander against conservative state Representative Joe Carr last month.
Carr has been endorsed by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham for the August 7th primary. And Carr has been relentlessly hammering Alexander for voting for the Senate's amnesty bill even after law enforcement officials warned Alexander that it would lure more illegal immigrants from Central America.
Nearly every one of close to 450 comments beneath Huckabee's announcement on his Facebook page blasts Huckabee for supporting Alexander.
One Huckabee fan said, "We supported and worked hard to get Governor Huckabee delegates when he ran in TN. His endorsement of Lamar with his liberal voting record is both an insult and disappointment."
Another supporter wrote, "With this endorsement, you lose my support and funds!" The Huckabee fan said that "Alexander has repeatedly proven himself ... to be as bad a rino and sellout to the conservative cause as" Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and singled out his support for "amnesty over simple enforcement of existing laws."
Here is a sampling of the blowback from Huckabee's own supporters in the past month, exactly as they appear on Facebook:
-Are you serious? You are not the conservative I thought you were. Lamar Alexander is the most liberal republican in the state of Tennessee.
-We supported and worked hard to get Governor Huckabee delegates when he ran in TN. His endorsement of Lamar with his liberal voting record is both an insult and disappointment.

Oh, I get it now.
Nevermind :)
Ok...that looks a lot more like I remember frisco looking...LOL
And although I never saw anyone waering a parka...I always laughed when it was in the 60’s and I’d be wearing a T-shirt when everyone else had jackets on....
I’m from Ohio....cold here is 11 below...not 60...
That’s not the Washington Monument. It’s some other obelisk.
Gov. Huckabee, this endorsement needs to be withdrawn...if it isn’t, you will never see the inside of the White House except as a guest.
BTW...there ain't that many ski caps and hoodies in S.F.
The 2014 march for life gathered on the Washington mall.
The scaffold is clearly visible in the posted photo.....

Yes the obelisk in the picture is the Washington monument.
See 38.
Which Goober; Huckabee, Lindsey Grahamnesty, and the rest of the Carnival Cavalcade of Characters in the Comity Club in the Upper Chamber. Should we call them a Gaggle of Goobers?
Any Chance we still can get a Mulligan and straighten out the Cochran mess in Mississippi?
Not trying to be an ageist, but it is time for Term Limits and Age Limits in the House, Senate, Supreme Court and maybe even POTUS. If it is good enough for Airline Pilots it is good enough for them.
Well Huck’s a RINO. I’m not surprised.

Rusty Stevens is still living and will turn 66 this year.
I’ve been wondering about Chris McDaniel, not a peep from his camp in weeks now.
The SF Bay area is probably the worst ground for Huckabee’s Christian Socialism. The right leaning people are more libertarians and the socialists hate religion.
Conservative talk radio of all types does well here. Rush, Hannity, Levin, Savage, have been on the air for years.
I will admit that some local talk does tend to be libertarian leaning but the KSFO morning drive man, Brian Sussman, is a staunch social conservative. He was the lead in to Huck but Huck could not hold the audience.
They didn’t cancel it, he quit. He bombed nationwide.
What? Did he quit to “spend more time with his family”? LOL
It’s cool...I’m not trying to pound you or anything....
I’m just one of those freaks with a photographic memory who also loses his keys....LOL
I just happened to know the area through pics....
A side note if I may....I also one of those glutens for punishment that ventures into the hinterlands to do battle with the libtard hivemind hordes...
I consider FR to be a intellectual Dojo....we all spar and keep each other on our toes.....
I know if I can hold my own here I wont have any trouble pimp slapping the “minon’s of O”....
*cheesy grin*
No worries. It looked smaller as well.
Huckster is as Huckster does. BTW, any Huck Freepers admit to being fooled by this shyster? I know there must have been a lot of them in 2007-8,
From what I remember reading, he quit to pursue other interests and focus more attention to his weekly TV show.
