Does the GOP have the ‘stones’ to combat and win against that?

Short answer: No.

Longer answer: Because Republicans do a lousy job countering the media, who owns the soapbox after all so like a tree falling in a forest with no one to hear it...

Republicans are a much more ideologically diverse party than the dems could ever hope to be. So you have RATS in Republican Blue like Jaun McCain and Linda Graham extolling getting along and sticking knives in conservatives' backs, to TEA stalwarts like Jeff Sessions and Ted Cruz who just want the stupid to stop and save the country.

But let's face it. As currently organized and led, Impeachment or any standing up to Obama's illegal acts won't happen. We need to do two things:

A. Get rid of the dem majority in the Senate.
B. Get Boehner out and put someone in who has at least an ounce of courage.

Both of these can be done. A. comes after the election, as does B., but we need more TEA people in SEATS!

This is all hinging on the Nov 4 election.

The more I see of the crap coming out of ‘rats in general and The 0 in particular, the more I wonder if their Final Solution to save their skin might not just be to have or just create some excuse to cancel it.

...truly a SHTF moment if I’ve ever heard of one, but that’s just me.

Personally I see the divide as PRO-Big G’ment , The maverick, Linda Gramnasty, John Wayne McCornyn - He is just like one of us Texans, The Red/Black plaid shirt from Tennessee and a number of other “Republicans”

Ted Cruz, Jeff Sessions (Alabama), Mike Lee

The rest - Rubio, Paul - Loosers, both in support of Big G’ment using the Bush II approach

With the primaries almost over - I do not see how “B” gets done. The small G’ment types do not yet have enough votes this cycle
