seeking changes to the plans...
Hopefully a good sign, no plan survives contact.
Israel has accepted a ceasefire proposal from Egypt. Hamas has rejected the ceasefire proposal from Egypt. The Israeli Security Cabinet rejected, unanimously, a ceasefire proposal from the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry.
That’s what I’m talking about. Our Pentagon boys, girls and its should be over there observing and learning the correct way to fight a war!!! To hell with ROEs. They’re all nothing but bull**** anyway!
Good..this is Israel’s chance to finally destroy Hamas..they should not listen to this nonsense about cease fires, they have to do what they have to do to protect their country
Gentlemen!

It sounds like we need to prepare our popcorn, to support viewing of the main attack.
I totally agree.
From Breitbart
Thousands of Hamas-linked terrorists planned to invade Israel on the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), which begins on September 24, according to an Israel security source.
First reported by Ma’ariv, then in English by i24news, thousands of terrorists were meant to cross over to Israel from Gaza through the tunnels and kill and kidnap as many Israelis as they could. The source added that the army learned about the huge planned attack during the interrogations of Hamas prisoners, captured during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.
Reports state that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed his cabinet about the foiled plot during a Thursday cabinet meeting. The leader of the Jewish State reportedly expressed to officials that if this attack was not stopped, the number of Israeli fatalities may have been higher than the over 2,200 deaths Israel suffered during 1973 Yom Kippur War.
During Israels recent incursion into Gaza, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have set their sights on destroying Hamas sophisticated tunnel system. In the past, the U.S.-designated terror group has successfully infiltrated the Jewish State, resulting in the killing and kidnapping of Israeli soldiers. The last occurrence was on July 19 when two IDF soldiers lost their lives and the assailants were able to escape back to Gaza through a tunnel. Gen. James T. Conway, USMC (ret.) recently returned from Israel, where he was joined by a dozen retired U.S. generals and admirals, sponsored by Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA). While there, the group toured a tunnel from Gaza recently discovered near an Israeli kindergarten.
Unlike tunnels that I had seen during the Iraq war that were designed for smuggling, this Hamas tunnel was designed for launching murder and kidnapping raids. The 3-mile-long tunnel was reinforced with concrete, lined with telephone wires, and included cabins unnecessary for infiltration operations but useful for holding hostages, the retired General wrote in the Wall Street Journal.
Israel has reportedly destroyed over 30 tunnels during Operation Protective Edge. The Jewish State contends that Hamas, which governs Gaza, devotes resources to building tunnels to commit acts of terrorism, instead of building homes, parks, schools and hospitals.
An article published by the Gatestone Institute quotes an Israeli spokesmans observation that there are two Gazas, one above ground and one below ground: an underground terrorist city.
And I am sick of the US and others trying to force a cease fire down Israel’s throats..I wonder, would the US be asking for a cease fire from ISIS, or Al Qaeda..you can’t negotiate with terrorist scum, you destroy them, piece by piece
Amen Sarah. The Israelis will do what they must as would Americans if we had incoming rockets.
If Israel operated under the ROE that the U.S. Army did in Normandy, there would not be one building standing in Gaza today. If the IDF operated under the ROE the U.S. did in Iraq, there would be no Israel today.
And Israel uses SO much restraint, more than I ever would. Show me any country that gives advance notice that they are about to bomb a building..it would be like the US calling Bin Laden at his compound in Pakistan and say “Mr Bin Laden, we are about to bomb your house, just wanted to let you know” If Israel wanted to destroy Gaza they could have done it weeks ago, would have taken 30 minutes and adios Gaza
Absolutely true Sarah. Doubt I would have the type of restraint either Israel has shown.
Dark of the moon will be the night of the 26th, but tonight will be good too...
Defenses have been probed, intell has been collected, and reserves have been activated - Consensus seems to have been developed between the Israeli left and right - the stars are all aligned.
It is a short drive to sea.
Get Some!
This is Israel’s only chance to fully destroy Hamas..F what the rest of the world thinks..I doubt Israel even cares, Bibi knows the Nazi jew Haters are alive and well..if they stop now Hamas will just get more rockets from Iran and build more tunnels, using our taxpayer money of course
Hamas is the local chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Muslim Brotherhood was made into an effective operation under Nazi tutelage before and during WW2.
Arafat’s uncle, the Mufti of Jerusalem, was the Nazi’s Arabic language spokesman over radio broadcasts from Berlin. Before the Nazis, they were an ineffective complaint society bemoaning the fall of the caliphate and the decline of morality. After the Nazis they had sophisticated spycraft and political/propaganda savvy. They gave birth to al Queada, Hamas, and dozens of other front groups - some in the United States.
They need to go.
..................
It seems Israel underestimated the extent of Hamas' tunnel systems. Actually schools, I'm sure. This is really their only chance to demilitarize Gaza. Any long stop prior to realizing their objectives.
And I have to think neutralizing the southern threat in the event of a strike on Iran has to be an unspoken, publicly, objective.
The Israeli’s should invite bam for talks... then arrest him.
