There are major clashes occurring currently in The West Bank tonight as claims of 10s of thousands and Palestinians clash with Israeli soldiers. Sadly, as the photos below reveal taken moments ago show, things appear set to get very much worse.

On the local DC news tonight, there was an interview with a guy who had volunteered in Israel. He was a firefighter, and he freed up a local to serve in the Army. I guess they are looking for such people so they can put more Israelis in the fight.
I know that’s probably not what you had in mind, but it sounds like they will soon need every able-bodied citizen to put this assault by the barbarians down.
Well actually there will one day be a 3 yr. peace....but that's another story, currently though I agree.
Meanwhile I'm afraid Israel will continue to have these people as a thorn in their side. It just never ends for very long before the Palestinians are firing rockets, burning buses, throwing stones and the litany of what we've seen time and again. This time around though it might get more heated then most would care to see....we can, and I will, pray that it doesn't.

I don’t know how old you are, but I’m 80 years old. The only way I can support Israel is with my money, and I really don’t have enough of that, but I’m trying.
My complete agreement Mom MD. But with what is coming down the road (seen) wouldn’t it also be wise to have a backup plan? If Israel was simply waiting on God to show his mercy by not doing anything other than praying (and believe me, I pray nearly constantly for Israel, America and this planet) without taking action to prevent a people that wants to kill Israel from killing Israelis then God might be laughing at Israel instead of standing by for Israel? I too believe the other cheek must be turned so the enemy may strike that cheek but after what Israel has been through I would think Israel’s cheek is plenty raw. But nevertheless, I honestly do understand your point and my prayers will continue. Just hope I’m humble enough that God and His Angel’s of Mercy will hear me.

Never been a Firefighter but am ready to go if God Wills it to be. Also after 911 they would not let me help because was told was too old. Was turned down. Passed enlistment age back in late 70s but sometimes where there is a will ... God provides a way. I appreciate your post.

As mentioned caww, the information lines have fallen apart in regard to information be given out to the public unless the public is given no information or quiet per the powers that be (or so it appears) then there seems to be a fear the public might want more information or would act upon the information disseminated. Fears appear to be keeping both officials and media from disseminating information to the public. I suppose both officials and media believe the public would possibly panic or demand action(s) be taken that would eliminate the current threats. That would require going where D.C. officials do not want to go. D.C. officials would rather the public be kept in the dark and not be told the facts or at least that is the way I interpret what is currently taking place.
I’m 63 with a heart condition, neuropathy and diabetes. But I could get a few rounds off before I croke. Seriously, maybe I could do rear echelon type stuff.
