Kerry went from 150,000 to 180,000.
The Special Election had 330,000 voters and general had 360,000 voters. All of it went to Kerry. The Pakistani only got 500 less than the white Democrat.

Curson’s win was in the old district before redistricting. He didn’t win because Taj was a Muslim. He won because his district had Redford, Westland, and Belleville, and Taj’s district did not have those areas. That is hard core UAW with a rapidly increasing black population in Redford.
