Vladimir Putin just showed the world exactly what he thinks of the President of the United State and NATO allies calls for him to rein in the pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine.
Less than a week after rebels took down a Malaysian passenger plane carrying nearly 300 civilians, the militants loyal to Moscow are not laying low. “Two Ukrainian fighter jets were shot down Wednesday in the eastern regions of the country that are controlled by Russian-backed separatists, according to Ukraine’s defense ministry,” USA Today reported on Wednesday.
It was the first reported shoot down of a plane over eastern Ukraine since a Malaysia Airlines jet carrying 298 people went down last Thursday, killing everyone aboard. U.S. officials say the Flight MH 17 was apparently brought down by a surface-to-air missile.
A similar SU-25 jet was shot down on July 17, the might before the MH 17 crash, by an air-to-air missile along the country’s border with Russia, according to the Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for Ukraine’s national defense and security council.
The planes were reportedly taken down in the rebel-held eastern part of Ukraine, but far removed from the area in which MH17 was allegedly hit by a sophisticated surface-to-air missile....

Were those "people" carrying weapons themselves, or just hiding them among apartment buildings like those cowards hid that Buk launcher in Torez?
The Rebels shot 2 jets down with “air to air missiles” apparently, that would suggest the “rebels”/insurgents/Russian agents have some jets or something. Or maybe these were shot down by the Russian Air Force.
If Ukraine already knew the Rebels had BUK’s, why were they allowing civilian aircraft to fly over them?
Where is your evidence that they bombed or strafed anybody ???
They have a public relations department for sure and many work overtime here.
They were just tourists idling in the skies taking pictures of cute clouds, and all of those bombs were just ballast, right?

There was not one report that they were firing their weapons.
IF true they better fire their air traffic controllers. Letting planes fly over a combat zone isn't very smart. Unless it was intentional.

It is sickening to see media and Putin’s disinformatchicks calling “Ukrainian separatists” or “Russian separatists” bunch of Russian masked military thugs executing Putin’s order to annex Ukrainian territory.
When Yanukovych “thing” did not work out, Ukrainians froze at Maidan to put end to “joining Putin’s great mother Russia”, Putin mobilized his army at Ukrainian border, took over Crimea and now is biting more pieces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian people, even Russian speaking and especially Crimean Tatars do not want to be part of the Putin’s great Russian empire again or ever.
Masked spetznatz and Russian military personnel with modern armaments, no markings, are not Ukrainian separatists!!!!!!
If Ukrainians were desperate to join Putin’s empire, they would peacefully demonstrate for split, just like they did at Maidan. Masked thugs are Putin’s occupying soldiers, terrorizing population and just demonstrated their “skills” by shooting down Malaysian Air. When they were shooting down Ukrainian planes, world was quiet, now they awaken and see the true face of Putin - new Hitler.
So media: Please stop calling Putin’s masked occupants of Ukraine as “Ukrainian Separatists”!
Putin’s Russians shot down the plane not Ukrainians. Plane flew across whole Ukraine, until drunk Ivan saw another “Ukrainian” target entering airspace of “Donetsk Republic” and ordered fire, only to see foreign passports and bodies showering the fields.
With military like that Putin is hoping to conquer 40 million of pissed off Ukrainians, who fought Hitler and Stalin?

I hope Russians realize who is leading them and do to him what Ukrainians did to Yanukovych. Then the Slavs can work together to build better future without sick imperialistic gangsters.
