A top United States general in charge of protecting the southern border says he’s been unable to combat the steady flow of illegal drugs, weapons and people from Central America, and is looking to Congress for urgent help.
Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly, commander of U.S. Southern Command, has asked Congress this year for more money, drones and ships for his mission – a request unlikely to be met. Since October, an influx of nearly 100,000 migrants has made the dangerous journey north from Latin America to the United States border. Most are children, and three-quarters of the unaccompanied minors have traveled thousands of miles from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.
“In comparison to other global threats, the near collapse of societies in the hemisphere with the associated drug and [undocumented immigrant] flow are frequently viewed to be of low importance,” Kelly told Defense One. “Many argue these threats are not existential and do not challenge our national security. I disagree.”
In spring hearings before the Senate and House Armed Services Committees, Kelly said that budgets cuts are “severely degrading” the military’s ability to defend southern approaches to the U.S border. Last year, he said, his task force was unable to act on nearly 75 percent of illicit trafficking events. “I simply sit and watch it go by,” he said. But the potential threats are even greater. Kelly warned that neglect has created vulnerabilities that can be exploited by terrorist groups, describing a “crime-terror convergence” already seen in Lebanese Hezbollah’s involvement in the region.

This isn’t just something that came about by word of mouth, this had to be coordinated with the different govts., mainly Mexico to allow them to come through Mexico without being stopped and sent back.
This appears to have been coordinated through Hillary’s State Department, no other govt agency could do it. It has to be official US govt. policy, not just some rogue agent or agency.
Just to coordinate it with the several govts involved probably took at least a year of negotiations.
Once the plan was worked out with the different govts. then they could start implementing the plan, but again they needed time to get the people together to implement the plan.
Once they got the influx started with preplanned groups and there was no response from the US govt., then word of mouth could take over.
Who'd of thought Americans could be hood-winked into voting for a man totally devoid of the necessary elements for running this huge and complex nation? A man who has thrown our Judea-Christian ethics under the bus in favor of Islam...Obama is far more lenient towards Muslims than any other religion maybe because he was raised a Muslim.
I guarantee there is a connection with this and Fast and Furious.
I never once believed F&F was about gun control. I always said someone was arming up the drug gangs for a reason.
Hillary had her own little F&F arming up MS-13.

Recent events make many of our “little” FReeps seem so very small by comparison.
We are in such great trouble as a country now!
That should tell you that the GOP is, for some reason, in complete agreement with the, what obviously amounts to, complete destruction of the United States.
Now why would that be? What do the “leaders” of the GOP know that you or I do not?
I’m expecting a repeat of the 2006 illegal protest only this time turning violent and shutting down cities, then there will be a work stoppage by the farm workers not just here but in Mexico to shut down the food supply, then there is going to be terrorist attacks which people will associate with the illegals.
For at least the last 6 months there has been an uptick in the need to control the amount of food people are buying to stop people from wasting food and denying food to other people. They were speaking of food shortages that didn’t yet exist.
The left will pretty much have their race war they have had wet dreams about for 50 years.

He USED to always say, “Watch the other hand!”. But, he seems to be completely ignoring “the other hand”, when it comes to what’s (really) happening with this INVASION!
The point is the destruction of the US. We are hated for our success. I read long ago “Blowing out someone else’s candle doesn’t make yours shine brighter”.
The left has power and they are not about to give it up.
If Obama can’t pass the power on to Hillary or some other extreme leftist through the election process, the left will use violence to keep their power they have, there wont be an election.

Bill Ayers and co. sitting around and talking about the extermination of an additional 25 million Americans AFTER millions of dead from a race war and millions more dead from a war of occupation by foreign govts. wasn’t just talk, it was a plan.
150 million $ or so, a nice multi-acre ranch and (probably) international properties, sending your kids Ivy League, offshore accounts and the security they provide -- I guess all that can make you soft with an awful lot to lose.
That ^^ should somehow be made into a bumper sticker - for 2016.
